Reviews for "Sol: Clockwork- Part 1"

Decently fun.

I will say that this game was fun to play. Turn-based combat can get tiresome, but at least you added in the block ability so the player is involved in both phases of combat. I really hope that you let us carry over our saves from this game to the next, because I have been killing Dekkamek over and over again trying to get that "defeat a boss without taking damage" medal. I'm level 10, one more kill away from level 11.

Also, I got the "Master Defender" and the third secret medals at least 10 times before I actually got credit for them... I don't know if that's the game or Firefox 9, but it was quite frustrating.

A common recurring bug that I found: When the game is started after beating the final boss, the character will load outside of the house in Shale. It's still possible to leave by walking around the outside of the house and getting close enough to the door, but that shouldn't be necessary. Also, if you save character progress after the boss is killed, shouldn't we be able to play with the meteor spell?

Bug: double parry freeze

In the battle against Dekkamek, phase 2, I parried hoping he would melee, but instead he did a guard or something so he didn't attack. Then I clicked Parry again and my menu disappeared and he never acted... so I'm sitting here writing this and nothing can happen in the game... ='(

good game

I don't normally like games with turn-based fights, but you made it fun. The spells weren't generic, like just shooting a fireball or lifting a staff up in the air and healing yourself. They were actually pretty cool and fun to execute. I liked the story too. Thanks for the awesomeness, bra.

You do not know...

...how long I have waited for this game. I thought you were dead.

Its official!

Better than MW3!
