What really gets me.
What really gets me is the fact that you could have used this to incorporate all kinds of discrimination: Be it against Sexual Orientation, Religeous Preferance, Political Affiliation, or gender. I understand that the song was mean't to specifically cover racism (especially towards blacks) but you never know when you could see a gay man or muslim lynched as well. Regardless I enjoyed the bold shading and fantastic song (really, really good). But what makes this stand out is the fact that you decided to get a message across. I know Newgrounds isn't a key place to find insightful, serious videos, but you put one on. I hope you make follow-ups discerning the other frequently attacked minorities. Especially the gays, we need all the help we can get.

True, I could have made it more broad, Then again, this was meant to be more broad than a lot of poeple take it. I decided to take a quite literal interpretation of the song, so naturally it was about a black guy (actually two).
I might do a follow up, but probably not anytime soon. I have to admit it is quite intens to work on such a movie for two weeks. At the moment I feel more like some comedy movies. If I ever make another I'll make it about gays or muslims

I found it heartwrenching, definitely. As a white woman, however, I can't help but add that reverse discrimination is just as big as a problem. It was quite a few years ago that slaves were used in the states, and I think that if we want racism to be gone and forgotten, we should stop reminding ourselves of it.
I mean, honestly? I'd like to see some scholarships that don't care if you're white, black, Jewish, etc. I don't get anything for being me, and yet so many others do.
Bash my post all you want, I just had to add it. Racism against whites is still racism.

I won't bash your post. I agree that racism against whites is also racism. Why do you think I put in "dedicated to ALL victims of racism, past present and future". This video was meant as a statement against racism/hate. Not directed at a certain group who I feel is responsible for it. I think we are (almost) all responsible for it.
