This is getting really annoying with all these Mario and sonic sprite movies, the only thing different is that sliver was there. I have to say this, but this is just a Knockoff.

wow i cannot believe this
after all these years on newgrounds, you'd think people would be smart enough not to combine mario and sonic anymore. don't you get it? it's a complete ripoff of 90000000 other things on the internet. yes, you put time and effort in, but sprites do not cut it anymore. it's a lame excuse for not being able to do your own artwork. if your plot is really that amazing you should get better artists to do work for you, or better yet, stop using popular nintendo characters altogether.
DBZ sound effects at max volume are not cool

Can this please stop.
You put effort into the animation which got you 1 point. As for originality, graphics, story and sound effects, you get none. The exact same Dragonball Z sound effects, the exact same blur and special effects from SMBZ and this may just be me talking, but Mario and Luigi must NEVER talk in full sentences unless they have a GOOD voice actor. Text doesn't work for Mario, thus why he never talks in the video games.
As for the story, it's almost insulting I'm sorry to say. Bowser has mysteriously become powerful and Shadow built this device which allows him to communicate with the Mushroom Kingdom. As for Silver, don't even bother with him. He was in one game and that game sucked majorly.
SMBZ was good because it did something lots of people who made Mario and Sonic movies had been trying to do for ages. Now, it seems that it's come back to bite us on the arse as people are now desperately trying to get in on the success of Alvin's work by completely ripping it off.
I'm not having a go at you, but for the love of all that is holy put your Flash skills to use on something else, because your skill is there. I'm prepared to get absolutely toasted by fans of this movie for giving less than an 8/10, but in all honesty they only like it because Mario and Sonic are in it flying around and beating each other up.

Well I've got to admit.
I can't say much without sounding like an asshole. This movie was bad. I know you put a lot of effort in this but it was really horrible. It has been done (HORRIBLY) over a million time before on NG. Sonic and Shadow team up with the Super Mario Brothers and fight bad guys in a ridiculously fast pace. Not to mention, it's always a sprite movie that uses the Mario and Luigi sprites from Mario and Luigi: Super Star Saga.
Time for the thing that you can improve on. Every time a movie that is about Sonic and Mario arrives on Newgrounds, I don't even believe that I'm even watching Sonic or Mario. I know that you know enough about the two franchises to know that the characters from either one of the games can fight like that. How about instead of having them fight like DBZ characters, how about you have them fight the way they do in the games. Make it seem more realistic. Maybe then, more of the viewers will actually believe that they are watching a Mario or Sonic Flash.
Onto the sprite thing. Yeah uh, that also needs to stop. It's been done way too many times to count. How about you actually try drawing the characters. I mean, sure the animation was superb but imagine how much better it would look if it was drawn.
Now the story. Don't even get me started on the story. Silver isn't married to Blaze and never will be. How about you come up with something more original? Instead of having Bowser cause the meting between Mario and Sonic, how about you come up with another reason? Oh, and don't always make it Sonic and Shadow and Mario and Luigi. Have a variation because that gets sickening.
Well I hope my constructive criticism can help you. How ever, if you choose not to follow my advice, I will just see this as another one of those unoriginal Flash animations that constantly have the same animation and the same plot and the same characters. Thank you.
