nothing special

sonic and mario. damn am i tired of hearing those three words mixed together.
it was cool to see sonic join mario in smash brawl, and to play with them in the olympics, but to see this idea just totally overexhausted in all sorts of flash animations is really boring after the first few, whether theyre fighting eachother or on a team together, it becomes really irritating to see this be overused. frankly, any sonic and mario flash that makes it into newgrounds should be nothing short of spectacular.

Yea, as i sayed in title, it was very good and awesome, just like the shows of Super Mario Bros Z but you sould added sounds like Luigi screams and stuff, Keep this up and you could be better then SMB Z

Wow i liked this alot

I liked this i thought it was well thought out not too much fighting yet but it is only the first episode.The style is alot like SuperMario Bros. Z and i think you will hear that alot but i actually liked this alot. only bad bit was that , like alvin earthworm, you made luigi suck really if u make him act like that there is no point in him being there i would like it alot more if he fought just like mario, hope to see next episodes in the future. 10/10 5/5 :D

To be serious this wasn't all that good.

The dialogue was poorly written in some parts with some inconsistencies such as Mario calling Peach, Princess, then calling her Peach which causes the dialogue to become ugly and bizarre.

Poor dialogue.

Then out of character moments along with the plot. First I just want to get out of the way that SMBZ does have a ridiculous plot but at least it made some sense...

First, Shadow building a transmitter?

Not only is that way out of character considering he doesn't even fiddle with machines but that he built it a day before getting the transmission from Mario?

Well, what luck...

Another thing, Mario had a transmitter too? What are Mario and sonic buddies?

Argh, there's too much stupidity in this plot to make any sense of it.

Plus why the hell did you just invert Bowser's sprites? Were you that lazy? You could of at least done a bit of editing, Christ.

In short, bad dialogue, bad plot and lazy sprite work.
