I mean it was done alright but it seems you are taking somebody's idea and twisting it to your own here. I agree with that you did a good job but it was the little things like wtf does sonic and shadow know of the mushroom kingdom unless you are going off " smbz ".
Good job just next time try something different that hasn't been already done

Okay, but could be better...
Okay, the flash was alright, but it had a few flaws. Now being a fan of SMBZ, I have kinda high expectations when it comes to flash like this. Anyways, the story was pretty good, animation was okay, and fight scene could be a lot better. I kinda like the story, but it doesn't explain a lot, but I guess it'll be explained in future episodes. Your animation seems okay for a sprite movie. It seemed fluent and smooth enough, but there is room for a little more improvement. The fight scene was not too great, though. You could put more dramatical moves and animation. For explain, when Mario was flying up, the screen should be following him, not staying at Bowser. The music needs a little improvement too. There are too many places where there is no music. The dialogue needs to be sped up or at least controllable by the viewer.
In the end, this scores a 6/10. Tthe animation was a little lacking, the story is pretty interesting. I hope your future episodes will be better.

good start, but since you're already doing it an 'video game" sprite style, why don't you go ahead and make "scrolling text" as well? I feel it would give more flow to the story.
You could also do some kind of background music to set the mood. sound effects are good. I think this series could go places if you trim it up a little bit.
