Reviews for "Gekisen card game"

strategy i hate you

the strategy card is like an instant victory for your enemy otherwise u would have gotten like a 9 overall

Good game, but NEEDS fixes

Overall you have a great game here, but there are way too many little bugs that still need to be cleaned up. Cards aren't being counted right (a 6 damage card just hit me for 10 with NO offensive bonus), I played a dual weild followed by 2 bleed cards and the cpu only got 1 bleed counter, etc. Also, as others have pointed out, the deck seems to be stacked in the computer's favor (pardon the pun) in tournaments on "lucky" draws. When I finally get the 100% heal for 20 Hazumi card, I get NO Hazumi, nor do I get any healing or damage cards (although the cpu seems to be getting plenty). Fix the bugs and I would maybe even actually pay for a more developed version of the game.

Needs some work

Very addictive, lots of potential, but some serious issues.

-bugs when enemies play certain cards
-too many useless cards, reduce the frequency of high level cards in low level tournaments
-hazumi was almost useless at lower levels, either reduce the points to benefits, or increase the gains by order of magnitude. After a point, this attribute was completely ignored in favor of anything else
-I made it to orange belt and never got any offense, defense, or healing bonus points, what was the point? (pun intended)

Intriguing, but not worth it

I can't say anything everyone else hasn't already said. nice concept, but the actual gameplay is cumbersome due to large amounts of crap cards, ridiculously high AI health, no real plot to speak of, and perhaps too many different variables that can occur when dealing with only six cards to counter them. Fun for about 2 minutes.

Poor

Interesting card fighting strategy game but horribly executed. The damage system is simply based upon some internal code that makes it completely inefficient leaving strategy at the door. I also found that the randomization of your card influences your loss. This doesn't strike me as a strategy more of luck. Also how does the combat work? I send an attack command with 10 damage and the enemy took no damage with no armor and dishes 15 to me? This game seems broken completely and is enjoyable for a minuscule amount of time.
