This collab is still on right? The NG Calendar Contest is officially over, so I feel okay bumping this back up now.

Anyway, finally got my damn replacement pen for my tablet (today! when it's of no use to me for the contest), so, I'll fill in the background on my pic with buildings and whatnot. Also, updated the color scheme a bit, because I had the sudden realization that no self respecting luchador would ever wear a shirt.

Here's an update on mine. I apologize for the background buildings being a bit generic; that's about the best I can do drawing with a tablet, which is pretty much what I have to do if I want to add line drawing to a picture at this stage.

So anyway, there's a background, changed the lighting around a bit, so it's overall a bit darker now, and added some color highlights from the flames. Probably still going to darken the background and try to make the sky look more...sky-like, among other things.

Also, I think we need way more pics than we've got right now (maybe not, I haven't actually counted); at any rate, we don't have thatmany. McJesus, I already gave this a mention in another thread; is there anything else we can do to try and get some more people in on this?

I've seen your other work and it's really good, so, I'm excited to see what you'll come up with for this. Will you post a work in progress when you've got something? That'll let McJesus know that you're serious about wanting in.

Because I truly want this art collab to rock I have a couple of other ideas I'm going to try and do. Here's one work in progress that I've got drawn and inked and I just need to color. Also, I exercised some self-censorship, not so much because I think the nudity is inappropriate, but because I wasn't really sure what McJesus would want as far as that's concerned...

A fun fact: while I was inking this, I accidentally stabbed myself in the hand with the sharp end of my crow quill, and now I have a small black mark that will likely never go away; good to know that the Metropolis Art Collab physically injured me and left me permanently marked.

Personally, I'm not too fussed, but I'd like to keep this something simple and fun, I'd rather not have to slap on an adult tag for one picture. So it's fine, but keep the censor bar. :)

I have to apologise to McJesus, for not doing anything on my piece. I have been busy with college, and was stressed to hell yesterday (deadline). But I've got a shit load of time off, a week and a bit, and I'm gonna work my arse off for you lot.

I think everybody understands we all have lives outside of Newgrounds, and I know deadlines are stressful - which is one of many, many reasons why I didn't go to art school, because I couldn't handle the pressure to be creating stuff all the time...

Also, so that this gets bumped up for a good reason, here's an update of my robot wip.

Another update on my perverted killer robot. I probably should do some more to it, but, I think in a crunch that it would be usable at this stage. I think I lost a little bit of quality trying to get this down to 150kb for the forum...but, you get the point.

Any specific filetype? I'd perfer .png
