I would highly appreciate critique on my work, i am REALLY looking to get better and critique is VERY helpful.

His ear looks kinda strange, they shouldn't be so... triangular.

actually, the shading, you might wanna put it under the cheekebone. thats all the qritique i can offer :P

Great work, but put the shading on the right side of his face under his mouth, and make it curve, just slightly over it. Would make it look much better.

The moment an artist feels he is satisfied with their art is the moment they become lazy. Always strive for better.

But, if you arn't going to improve on it, I'd say for future works with lighting, try imagining the point at which the light is comming from. Think about how the light path is interupted by the objects it hits. If light hits an object, chances are, if it's not transparent, that the object behind it will not recieve any light.

Another thing is that light does not change the color into a solid new color. It seems you went with a blue light, so there should be blue added the base color, not just blue. I love the tutorial that Dile shared with us a while back, it helps a lot. Below is the pic from it to help you with lighing color.

I like this. while it is nice the outline overlaps make it a little hard to see the images until you look at it for a while. the other pieces on DA are good as well.
