well I was watching Godzilla final wars when I drew this but I don't think I took much from that.. Really at the time I just wanted to draw a really big eye, so I just started to scribble mindlessly till I got this.

I was at a farm all weekend, so i couldn't start it then either. Sorry about that, i'll start working now.

Not really a squid, more of a alien blob thingy...I guess. Don't have any colors picked out besides red eyes :/. thanks though :D. --So far-- dose it look like a will make it in? Oh and dose it have to be colord?

Yeah, its an alien blob with a bunch of eyeballs :D. I'm having trouble drawing the building (yes, the building of all things. I should have thought it through a little more before I started. Ah well, thanks for reply McJesus.

Giant eye monsters are cool. Just take your time with it and it'll work itself out (I have trouble with buildings too, I hardly ever draw them so it's really a pain when I have to). Try to find some references for buildings through a Google image search or something, that always helps me.

Anyway, please post updates for us as they happen; it'll help you get feedback and it'll keep the thread hot and get the collab more exposure.

It looks good, but you've only posted a head.. draw some lineart first and I'll see if it makes the grade.

I actually thought it came out pretty well; I guess maybe the monster is a bit generic if I had to choose one thing I didn't like about it...

I do think it would improve significantly if you were to color it.

I know no one here really gives a fuck what i'm doing since i haven't posted any wip shots, but I just thought i'd bump it letting you know i still am. I've got the picture all set up, just, without the monster. I'm still not really sure what it will look like and i'm not sure what the perspective will be. But it'll be fantastic when i do finish it and give it here.

Actually that's pretty cool. You should draw in a pac-man looking character that he can be chasing so that people can see it in the right context. Oh, also, I think your monster needs to be destroying a building or something, so...maybe add one in the background that he just crashed through or something?

Also, the deadline isn't until November 30th, so, you're not late at all.

Haha I'm not sure what I've done with this, it's all foggy and stuff. It's like a picture taken from a civilian's point of view.. sort of. Haha I don't know..

It's not much, but I still think it's good and I am open to suggestions on how to make it better.

i finished the basic outlines of mine.
I just realized that the face can have two points of view..

the spikes are teeth (not a beard)
and the 2 round things that are together are nostrils (not a mouth screaming)
and yes, the long lines are the eyes.
i tried to create like a demon.

well there are a lot more of things
that need to be added (fire, people, left hand, etc)
im out for now

Yay..i'm hapy to have found this post because this seems like a really interesting project so i will contribute to it :) i drew this in pencil and colored it in photoshop...since i don't have a scanner and i have to use a crapy camera(quality wise) a lot of detail and clarity has been lost while taking the picture to i had to edit a bit in photoshop to make it clearer but still...not as good clarity as the picture itself...

Mm.. I've going to have some things to juggle in the coming weeks so I probably should at least give an idea of how this is going to roll at least. Thanks. :)

Well, I guess I should try my skills. As you can see it's just a WIP sketch, but it's probably good to get approval early on. Right?
