Due to personal problems, I couldn't access my computer for a one-week period.
FYI, this is until Sunday.
I can sneak on now and then, though, that's why I'm sending this.
First off all, this is going to need some revamping... I figured it's a waste of time to wait for people to join you; you've got to PM as many people as possible and see how it works.
It's much better than sitting here, keeping this updated, while in all honesty: there hasn't been a real update since 2008.
I've also learned that people on do something if you keep mass-PM'ing them. I would've denied that months ago, but now I see this is actually true: if you don't do anything, they won't do anything.
But of course, before PM'ing everyone again, I need to do some work myself. Part of that is making a decent post with all info, for once. Partlist and everything you should possibly be interested in. I thought of making a new thread, calling is NG Level Collab REVAMPED, but thought that would've just been a waste of time. We've got good posts and parts here, so why move? Indeed, it's better to stay here and just make some active posts; show signs of activity.
Thus I'll also be making the main collab file. I've been telling you that for months now and yet, I still haven't had the opportunity to post it. I'm sure it'll give you all so motivation to start making your own parts AND it will also give a good overview of all parts. Handy for Mattster, eh?
'Bout co-authoring now.
As I mentioned a few posts ago, I'm going to let someone else submit it. Preferably 'funkycaveman', since he has been the greatest help around here for a long time. So no, I'm not going to be co-authored but that is of no matter. We can, at least, include another person ;]
If you really want a list of possible co-authoring, you'll have to wait 'till everyone's part is done, I'm afraid.
I'm going to try and sneak on again, today, and see what improvements I can make.
I already understood that some people don't care at all anymore, but I'd still like to finish this. It has been my very first collab and yes, this was WAY too big to be my first project, but surprisingly: we've already got this far.
So why not end it?
Why not quit with the 'I have other projects...' excuse and go for it?
'Cause you and I both know:
This collab,
Once finished,
IS GOING TO ROCK.
