Yesterday = end of exames = master-level drunkenness...

I long for the days where alcohol was something new and exciting, where I hadn't yet known how to conceal my level of drunkeness with fast movement, concentrated peripheral vision, fool proof ways of holding a drink so that it didn't slip out of my hand, and generalized questions and answers for whomever I was talking to.

Seriously, we made events around drinking. I can remember one time me and all my friends went to a church youth group and brought some coolers for when we'd sneak out during the bible reading stuff. We went out way into a field by a tree and tall grass and starting drinking. Then one of the girls would have to pee so one of us guys would "escort" her to the bathroom in the church.

I miss the days where drinking WAS the main event.

Anyone remember how exciting drinking use to be when you first started?

Still theres always beer/cider/wine festivals and music festivals for that kind of booze-centre event :).

I went to the Great British Beer Festival last year. I have to say, it was probably one of the best times I've ever had. Cheap as hell, with tons of good stuff to choose from. And as you say, when all you're there to do is drink, it does seem to make the drinking more enjoyable.

Hah snap, I was there too!

I wouldn't say it was amazingly cheap, but indeed all the beers that I tried were awesome, especially a couple of the high %age imports from stateside.

Well, bearing in mind I'm from London, it seemed bloody cheap to me. For example, this friday night, went to a pub which was charging £4 per shot. Fucking ridiculous. I got 9 shots for £5 up in Newcastle, which obviously is bloody cheap, but still £4 per shot, that's just insane.

Yea, I'd have to agree that aside from drinking copious amounts of alcohol, just trying exotic beers from all over was a right laugh. I found that getting a half pint glass was a better tactic than getting a full pint, as it meant it was loads easier for me to move on to other beers.

FYI, I got hammered last night... so I post here because that's what this club is about.

I've toned down my drinking immensely, no more buying my own booze. From now own it's daddy's liquor cabinet only, which I don't sneak into that much even though there's enough booze in there to keep me wasted 24/7 for a couple months.

So yeah on saturday night went out to a posh club for a friends birthday cos he got free entry. Got refused at the door, totally wank, first time that's happened to me. I was relatively sober at that point and was wearing smart shoes, smart dark jeans and a shirt. Crock of shit.

Anyway, went to the pub, went to the chippy, and I don't remember anything after that.

I had about 3/4 of a bottle of gin that night, good shit.

anyway i've started piecing together the night afterwards, I went back to my friends house to eat my food and finished off my gin.... and was a generic total dick around the house lmao. Stole everyone's food and shit.

Then I left their house, and I'm pretty sure I went straight home but some numbers don't quite add up of when I left theirs and when I woke up my flatmates crashing up the stairs

so yesterday i had to work at a youth club party and the second purpose we had was getting as drunk as possible. unfortunately i've been sick for the past 4 days so after 5 beers my stomach refused any more beverages.

I had to work and be present completely sober. it was hell.

Got a bottle of Maker's Mark for my birthday a couple days ago, I'm pretty happy about that except I've worked the last few days.

Had a terrible night last night, but there was one funny thing. A couple fat ugly chicks who were doing blow in our bathrooms took home some dude, but before he left he let the waitress know that he was going with them because they had blow, but he'd probably have to let one of them give him a handjob. She and I thought it was funny. The old uglier one touched my nice sweater, I'm debating whether it needs to be burned or not.

Yesterday i went to the supermarket and bought some vodka, gin and OJ. I went skating that night with my friend. Then we started making shots and skating. At some point we was nailling this awesome grind drunk. i drank some shots to and went skating at some point i don't remeber what i did. I Wake up next to a trash can with an empty botle of vodka and my board. And I was like "Where's my budy?"
I found him 2 hours later in an alley sleeping with a hobo. Then the hobo tells us that we were skating and drank some shots with him and my buddy and him started making out. And I went to pick up some ice (don't ask me the reason cuz idk) and maybe felled in the bushes. Rough Night Huh

Last weekend we went through two bottles of Jager. I'm still kind of woozy.

Friday night was a bar crawl, things got pretty hectic but I wasn't nearly the most drunk there.

I did have 3 pints per bar (~45 minutes in each place) though which I was pretty pleased with.

Alcohol is like chili. It gives your life that little nice flavor when used in moderation. If you use it too much, a normal life aint tasting anything.

Well i quess i can join to this lil club you have here. I dont know if you really mean "NG Alcoholics" as REAL alcoholics. Well i had an alcohol problem. I used to drink everyday. Now i only drink once or several times a week.

My favorite beers are Budweiser, Heineken, Sandels and San Miguels.
I dont really drink wines a lot. I usually only drink beer.

Well how i managed to stop everyday drinking? Well the answer is weed. I smoke a joint every evening and its enough. I dont feel like drinking after smoking weed. I also used to smoke weed after drinking those beers. Thats why i didnt drink like 15beers everyday. I only drank 6-8beers, then smoked weed and i was totally blazed. But i dont do that anymore.

So i still have to be high everyday to live like normal people do. I dont know what is my problem. I will become anguished if im sober the whole night. I will feel very unconfortable and my pulse is raising. When i smoke, i get happy, relaxed and sleep well. I think its better than drinking everyday i guess.

I hardly did anything for my 21st birthday, actually I worked and my co-workers were doing shots with me, one benefit of working at a bar lol. Mind you 21 isn't such a big deal where I live, you're pretty much a full-fledged adult once you turn 18. I hardly did anything on my 18th either, but it was a Tuesday and I had big plans the next day.

So anyway last wednesday an old friend from home came up to see me, so i got a group of friends together and we went out to our local token indie club, where wednesdays feature £1 beer.

Suffice to say I still had a hangover at 7pm thursday.
