Yea that probably helped quite a bit. It seems one of my scouts was unscouted and Cube got 2 more scouts so I'm now equal with funnyusername and behind Qube...

scouting is not a competition, its to help artists get into the portal and get out there, cloudy half of yours i wouldnt consider scoutworthy or theyd be borderline and id say that you just scouted them for the 1 up without really thinking

i see it, they wanted to make the character taller so to do that they copied it and moved it down and erased some so it blended together, but forgot some bits, seriously bad job there, im guessing they didnt get someone who knew about photoshop to do it

either some one who had no clue what they were really doing, or were just lazy and in a rush.
for some of these banner jobs, I would not be surprised if this is the case.
it also looks a little like various versions of armor placed together. Something tells me this was not rendered for the purpose of an ad. Which is a huge mistake by the PR department and the render farm/artist

normal sculpting cost too much and I don't have any way to fire clay or melt down metals, soif I do any sculpting it's with super sculpty and casting with resin.

It's on my wishlist in the far-off future, though, but I'd love to do summat on a similar scale to sucho's dragon head, say a Mayan head-pot or whatnot.

lets see, 1 year, iv done more than most people on the site who have 4 or 5 year old accounts, thats kinda sad, but the art forums a good place to be, i mean look at the improvement, and i got my own weekly contest
