Yeah...it's starting to get a little ridiculous here...a new macs started up already. I understand it takes some time to listen to all the submissions but we shouldn't be the ones to pay if one of the judges promised to commit time they never had. There should be a judging deadline rule that's as solid as the submissions deadline rule.

I agree to an extent - and I'll post the results as soon as I can - possibly later today/tonight.

As far as a judging deadline goes - if you don't get a submission in on time then the only thing that happens is you don't get to compete - but what should happen if the judges don't get their work done on time?

If the judges don't complete their work by a judging deadline then there are still no results to post, deadline or not.

Any ideas? If you have any then PLEASE!, I beg you, let me know.

Well, how many judges are there? If a judge didn't make a deadline then maybe they should be dropped from the judging. It's not really fair seeing as how votes would get lost, but it's also not too fair keeping so many people waiting like this. I mean, if there's only 5 judges then I'd reconsider asking for a deadline, but if theres at least 10 maybe then it's slightly different. Dunno, it's just a thought. In any case I think I might be a judge in the next comp. I don't think i'd have as much fun making nes chip tunes as I would have listening to the better submissions.

It's great though to hear that the results will be out soon :D

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting results until middle of this month!

But LJ busted out the awesome, got the new MAC ready, launched dat glorious vessel and a list has been compiled! Few tweeks now, and it's ready to boot.
