DnB in it's current state as well as all of it's predecessors, incarnations, and variations are all good, so yes.

The genres DnB and Ambient are two different kinds.

Jungle is the "father" of DnB, check out what's written about jungle here and also wiki

Jungle is a sub-genre of electronic music that is often confused with typical drum'n'bass.
Jungle has all the qualities of D'n'B, but takes on after Reggae, R&B, and Dub,

Okey so maybe i got it wrong with jungle, maybe not, (tho, everybody say's different things about
the differences between jungle and dnb)

But still, many Jungle/Drum&Bass songs allready are ambient songs with dnb drums.
It just makes it Jungle/Drum&Bass.
(I call it Jungle, because of the atmospheric feel)

But i see, now. I thought the contest was about mixing 2 styles together =]

Even that's not quite right. Jungle is characterized by rolling drumlines and sliced up breakbeats, as opposed to the "steps" programming that most artists in DnB use for drums.

Subnova - Stimulant (Jordan)

An ambient track I made a while ago, never thought I'd ever even use it until now. Created in Reason 3.0 and exported and resampled in FLS 7.0 because their compressors are the shit. Never made ambient before and it was a stretch to go off from DnB, because it was originally going to be the introduction to a track I was working on however keys didn't match and tempos didn't fit.

Also sorry about the 2 minute of silence at the end. I forgot I was going to break into a song at that point. So just imagine a track being played for the wonderful 2 minutes of nothing.
