What I meant by "silly shit" is that if you're gonna pull something like rule #10 and keep the thread laden with cock jokes, maybe you shouldn't act so strict. Not trying to be a party pooper or anything though, cause I like cock jokes.
Your frustration is very much understandable. We discussed your matter (like a few other matters) in a serious way, almost without cockjokes, belive it or not!
When I've made the MAC's, I've usually used the previous complete contest as "template", and deleted + editing everything to make it fit the current theme, it saves time. If I don't finnish things off, I leave CAPS LOCK REMINDERS here and there, to make it more apparent that things aren't completley done. Rule #10 was not needed from the previous contest, so I deleted it and temporarily replaced it with LOL!
When I handed over what I had done to LJC to finnish it off (since I've alot of school to deal with, and my thumb was stuck in my ass), he let rule #10 stay as a little reminder that this is a FUN contest, and even though we're serious about the rules and all that, we do this for fun on our spare time, all voluntary work.
If we do choose to cock-joke the thread up a little, it's just an attempt to lighten up the spirit, it's fitting, since 99% of NG seem to enjoy a good cock-joke (including ourselves).
Now, does this have to do anything with the way the contest is being managed?
Short and simple answer; - No.
We've been doing these contests since last year, and like you yourself previously pointed out, we have NG sponsored awards on this. We definitley take the contest seriously, othervice you wouldn't have something as structured as this is. Serious matters we discuss in a serious way. In between, we throw the seriousness off with a dick here, and a pubehair there.
Also, as a BBS mod I will mod this thread, just like any other on the BBS. This is not supposed to be an alternate AF-lounge, but most larger threads do get "side-stepped" here and there, without having to be derailed.
I have deleted a post or two that's plain outright spam, but like I previously mentioned, the main spirit is wanted to be jolly and/or gay. How would it be if we were al ldead serious all the time? I know there's no fucking way in hell I'd wanna listen to PsychoGoldfish talkin' bout the world and it's problem when airing the radio-show.
We do try to see things from the contestants point of view and be fair, I hope you all can see things from our.
