I really can not see anyone doing this in the near future, it's because no one could possibly have 1 week to just give up and sit infront of a computer for 168 hours :::yes i can do math too even though my name says otherwise::: The most i did in a week was last clock day and i had about 1,500 because of the near 900 saves on clockday and i decided to go all out @;-}>

Yeah, but currently we´re in the middle of a fairly boring and uneventful period. Christmas holidays are over and I don´t know about you guys but my next official holiday is somewhere in May. So it´s not very suprising that we only see about 100-150 submissions on an ordinary workday.

Just wait until the summer holiday. People will have more time to create flashes so the portal activity will go up and at the same time people will have more time to check the portal. Sure, you still need to stay awake a lot to get the 1,000 points, but it´s possible and people have done it several times in the past. I believe Afro_Stud even got it like 3 weeks in a row once.

Turns out that I did okay this week. I was expecting to do a lot worse as I have barely been able to take some time to BP since wednesday. Fortunatly, Idiot-Finder didn´t do too well so I´m satisfied. And I guess it was slow for everyone if I also look at how Little-Rena did.

Depends on the condition of the box - has it been opened? Is it a collectible? Or is just a cool game that you want and you figure that if you don't get it now, you never will? More importantly, will it make you happy to have it? Sometimes, you just have to go for it...

Congrats to Gagsy and Dr. Jam. It was a tough week to keep up the pace. I, too, (much like Bahamut) am battling the unemployment beast - a little side work here and there, but still not enough to keep me from the portal. I really do need to get some work - but then I'll fall off my pace, and it's been one of the few things I've really come to look forward to these past weeks - that, and finding the best sales on cat food at the local stores. I love tuna and the liver with onions...

Depends on which game it is. If you can't find it cheaper anywhere else... maybe, if you really want to have it.
I mean, I once payed 30 Euro for a NES game... ok, it's not 50 Pounds, but still a lot of money. XD

It depends, how badly do you want it? If it's a game you really want, and it's rare to the point that shopping around for another copy at a better price would be difficult, then I'd say no, that's not crazy at all. :P
