Damn, i fell asleep and i missed the auction the 1802 penny and it sold for $93.00 i don't think i would be willing to pay that much for it as it was only 50$ at the start. I hope you've all had fun with acquiring medal points over the last week, whether it be just having a quick look at Portal Defenders or going to the extreme by earning ALL the obtainable medals so far. Myself, I'm just taking a break from them right now incase I break one of the keys out of frustration. :P

Also, regarding my question from last week, the rare PS1 games I was referring to was Tombi, a role-playing platformer game involving a pink-haired child fighting against the evil pigs. I played the demo of this game ages ago, but never bought the game. It was probably hard to get back then, so that's probably why I didn't get the game in the end. On Friday, I managed to win a bid of that game on eBay for £43. While it's still a lot, it didn't exceed £50. I cannot wait until this game arrives through the post. :)

This has been a really good week for me. Finally I managed to get back to my old #62 spot where I was about 8 months ago or so. And I stayed ahead of Idiot-Finder again and managed to make the gap a bit bigger with 9 points :p It´s not much, but all the small bits help. My next target is quite a big name, so that´s also nice :)

It's hard to say since I wondered what myself and the others would do without listmakers such as D0GMA and SK back in 2003 - 2005. We all had to carry on without their lists and eventually got over it. If something happened to me, however, as far as the B/P lists go, I'd ask if anyone's able to take over the list.

Depends on the condition of the box - has it been opened? Is it a collectible? Or is just a cool game that you want and you figure that if you don't get it now, you never will? More importantly, will it make you happy to have it? Sometimes, you just have to go for it...

There's a very very slim chance of seeing an unopened box of a PS1 game these days, so whatever I come across has most likely been played before. The games I've been after are becoming harder and harder to get and it's best to get them now before it's too late, despite the high price. Also, I'm definitely happy to be getting these rare games since some of them are I wanted at least 10 years ago, but never got them. So now I'm regretting not getting them back then, but as long as I get the games eventually, I'll be fine.

Not really. Depends on how much of a fanboy you are for the game. For example, I would pay silly amounts of money for an english version of Mother 3.

I don't think I'm a fanboy since I love a lot of Playstation games, Nintendo games and PC games. However, my biggest department would be have to be the PS1 since not only that's where my gaming frenzy started, but I've played roughly 80 games on that console (including demos and games I've borrowed) and that list will only expand soon. As a big PS1 fan, I'm willing to spend lots on games that may never hit the PS3 store.

Also, I've heard of the troubles with the Mother series. It's a shame since after seeing Ness on the Super Smash Bros. series, people would be having a look into the Mother franchise, but oh, the only game that came out outside Japan was EarthBound and that game never came out in Europe. :( And from what I've heard, it may never come out here, not even on Virtual Console, which is a damn shame.

So you don't believe me, that I'm being chased by robots?

Yaya's a freak - it comes up to me and says something about being sent forward in time from the first portal war to kill me now, stopping me from going back in time in order to end the war, by alerting gfoxcook about the voting bots and helping to shut down the machines.

Fortunately, as any gentleman should, I had my trusty pipe to hand, which I used to fend off a couple of their wild swings, as I fumbled in my pocket. Fortunately, as I stumbled backwards, my hand came back with my pipe lighter and I set Hentux's hair aflame.

Seeing this, yaya was not impressed. It started to chug wildly, flinging out a selection of pre-redesign 0-votes, which acted like shurikens. My training has come in handy over the years and I feel safe among enemies, as I weaved about amongst them, letting them take the majority of the flak from this inferior machine. Pouring what was left of my strawberry milkshake over it's head does tend to do for killing off most machines - even inferior archive copies, such as I felt this one was.

One of my slowest ever, but I could guess as much with student teaching, spring break, coaching, dial up internet, friends, and a nasty little cold that I caught that it would slow me down a little bit. On top of that I couldn't access the website from my computer at home so as you can imagine that makes it kind of hard to do anything.

I even missed a deposit or two. Oh well, spring break is over and I'm getting wireless at home so no reason to slow down when I go home from now on because I'll finally be able to do things at home too.
