Great writing. I could visualize the whole thing because of how descriptive it was. This could make a great flash movie.
If only my fifth grade year was like that. It would have been kick ass just because the sixth graders at the time, now our seniors, would have been crazy to fight.

Great story. 10 out of fucking 10. My 5th grade wasn't that great but in 4th grade the boys and girls used to do things like that. We would all run around the big field while the girls would try to capture us and turn them to their side. They would keep us in the prison and if they needed more soldiers they would send us out to spy on and capture our former teammates. Sometimes you didn't know if the guy on your team was leading you right to the enemy for a suprise attack. It was good times...good times.

Wow that was really interesting. My 5th grade did something like that except the goal was for your faction to hold on to this one particular ball. It was really fun until we one kid cried to his mom (a recess monitor). Of course my side was the one that got in trouble. We got a lecture about how we were "harassing" them and how this was "gang activity".
Therefore, the fag did what he could to be the downfall of the ball wars.

makes me think of school (im still there) it reminds me of the massive "wars" between chavs and skaters lolz. about 20 people on each team beating the s**t outta each other, and proper fights, not play fighting =S i only ever joined in a couple of times...

Is fifth grade always filled with war?
In my fifth grade we fought in the snow against everyone else! Behind our school was a steep hill and below it a small forest, at the end of each fight we used to throw/roll people down the hill, almost like a sign of victory :P
