anyways, I am getting a PS3 this weekend (The amount of smiling faces I can put on this message wont be enough to emphasize my feelings right now), and now I am choosing what games to get.

Here are my selections thus far:

-Unreal Tournament 3
-COD4
-Warhawk
-A football game, either NCAA or Madden

my friend who also has a PS3 has Ratchet and clank tools of destruction, assasins creed, Uncharted, and something else, cant think of it. I can borrow his games so I need to know of any other good games I might get.

ohh shit i forgot to mention if you havnt already done this do this go to display settings and turn rgb range to full then turn on superwhite and youll have the same graphics as xbox so you can tell xboxers to shuff it up there ass cos every game looks the smae on each console btw each trailer has it wrong so dont trust them when they say ps3 graphics are more washed out that xbox because its not true they just havnt put there display settings up properly

Speaking of Uncharted, I saw a screenshot of one of the zombies. They aren't your average slow paced-walking zombie, they look like a white goblin. With scars. And his blood is brown-ish.

Wow, except the math is all wrong. I stopped reading after the XBL prices. XBL is 60 for a year. Not 15 for a month. 180 is over double its yearly price. You paid for XBL equivalent to one game.

The Majority of critics liked it. Even though the story is somewhat cliché, it just feels like a top notch Indiana Jones movie where you control Indiana. The character animations and voice acting are one of the best I've seen in awhile. Besides, if the guy who created CAD comics, a gigantic 360 supporter, likes it, you should neither have trouble liking it.

Yeah, I heard about that. They have some clause in their Microsoft contract that they can follow whatever Paramount Pictures does in the format wars. They don't have to, but they did it anyway.

Also not true! The Jan issue of OPM said that that 'pirate of carrbiean' porn show is also coming out on Blu-ray and the company will do so everytime a new 'movie' is out.

Resistance 2 sounds amazing, every time you play a map it will be somewhat different so hopefully people cant truly 'master' maps therefor making it more even.

Yes.
Apart from the online, resistance was nothing special. The only reason it was praised so much was because it was the only thing we had at the time.

Insomniac totally stole those "new" ideas from Halo 3 and Team Fortress 2.

Well, I hope they improve how much damage the weapons can do. When using the carbine online in the first Resistance, it would take a full clip just to kill one guy if you aren't trying to get a headshot. Plus, the "Circle around your enemy and shoot" tactic is fucking retarded.

Seriously, how many times have you encountered another player in a deathmatch and it was only you and him, where the two of you would then go around in a circle while firing at each other? I always saw other people online doing it as well as myself and it looks stupid. It's somewhat like Halo, unless you're using the needler, shotgun, or rocket launcher, it always takes forever to kill one guy, and that's why I hated Resistance.

If they can fix that and make it more like Call of Duty, I'll buy Resistance without hesitation.
