Here's a picture I made for a games design schoolproject. I'm studying Games Design right now which is pretty schweet. The aim was to draw a classmate as superhero.
This character controls an army of cute but deadly bunnies. yeah

Haha, very cute and well done! You should do another version where the bunnies are in their evil mood. Also, this game design class sounds interesting, I took one that was basically learning how to come up with the framework and writing for the concept of the game, along with supplementary images and some concept art, is that pretty much what yours is? Anyways good to see you back around!

I was planning on doing that, drawing the bunnies transformation from cute to evil, but I did'nt have time. :)
And yeah that's exactly what we're doing now, lots of drawing on paper and practicing creative thinking. For the second and third year there's gonna be some 3D work, but concepts are still the most important thing I think.
Im thinking the drawing you did from reference (the landscape one with all the colors) might still be my favorite.
I dont know what it is about that picture... I think it has something to do with how it is soothing yet interesting at the same time, you can see the efficacy of your methods in a glance.
or at least you seem to be able to.

hmmm, looks more like a fish or a sheep to me... maybe if you made the tongue way smaller... and try giving it a bit of scales

Sheep? man I must be way off haha. nah I wasn't sure what it looked like when I drew it, and I don't know what direction it's going either tbh. thanks for posting! Here's tonight's sketch:

Yea that is pretty funny. It shows how much your style has changed too. From a cartoony style to a semi realistic style. All the art here I've seen is awesome, I really like the landscapes. The only problem is that in some of your masterpieces you can see the brush strokes too much, so use a smaller brush maybe or reduce the flow? You should submit some more stuff to the Art Portal.

I usually leave some parts less polished in my pictures because I like the painterly feel to it, I guess it's a matter of taste. And yes, I do need to upload some more pics to the art portal! thanks for your comment :)
