Yeah, I made it in paint using a crappy mouse during programming class.

My first real try at traditional painting, done with acrylics. It's hard as hell, but a lot of fun to do.

That's really neat. Pretty amazing for a first try. I when been thinking of trying acrylics myself sometime, but I'm afraid of failing misreably and wasting my money.

True that it's easier to add more details in ps, but it's fully possible with acrylics aswell. For this one I used a pretty small canvas, wich makes it kinda hard to add details. Have to try to paint on a bigger one someday. Thanks for commenting =)

Nah you should definiately give it a try, it's really fun and when you've bought a set of colours you're set for a while I think, I did'nt use much colour at all with this painting.

great stuff as always man and nice to see u using some real materials...i've normally stayed away from real stuff like acrylics and water colors and oils but the practice on them really helps improve your digital art... keep improving man.

Woah, another amazing work of art . . . pretty unique character design, smooth shapes and clear dull detailed colors too. Love it.

Quick question though,
Do you blend with a soft brush or do you smudge? Or maybe some other way?

Mostly I start out with soft brushes, slowly work on the shapes and then smudge them. But it's pretty much different every time I paint. Other times I might block in shapes with really hard brushes and then smooth them out with soft one's. Try different techniques to find out what suits you best!
