Yeah well since my desktop is kinda mental right now i cant go in to the portal cause it lags really bad. Thank god i have a laptop that is alot faster but it is in the back room of my house where it is really cold and i dont fell like freezing right now. So i am stuck with the slow desktop for now.

Okay so, a laptop, they are kind of portable right? so could you not just move it into a warmer room? or would that cause problems with getting on the net or something?

Well considering i have only dialup and the only other port i can use is in the cold room. But maybe hopefuly soon i can get me a damn wireless broadband card so i can get online whenever and where ever. But i think it sucks to have dial up on a laptop cause it kind of defeats the purpose unless you have like wifi or something like that somewhere.

Just making this short post to let you know that I have officially finished school for the year and have 8 weeks to do whatever I want. So more time on NG and on the EGB. This does mean I can start making the updates again with my good friend Shanus(as he is on holidays too). Problem being that aldlv was going to make the next update, and I haven't heard from him. It seems he have disappeared. If anyone can get in contact with him that would be great because I really want to be informed so I can either do the next update OR wait for him to do one and take over from there.

Sure, I've been caught before, but I've blagged it as being outside of office hours, therefore, since it's not costing the company any additional money, that I'm not doing any harm. I don't think it would work that well now, as while he is the Boss' son, he probably would be pointing out that it may be distracting from my productivity and is a decent enough excuse for me to be reassigned :S

Yeah Dialup sucks period. Laptop or no laptop. Wireless broadband would definitely be a good idea. but until then, have fun being cold.

Being reassigned doesn't sound to good. I work in a hotel; and as I am not a manger, i don;t have access to a pc. So that fortunately, (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), keeps me away form NG while in work.

On a completely unrelated note, I hit 3000 saves last night. I'm now only ~150 points of Sergeant and another +2% VP increase.

I have tried to join these Barracks before but I wasn't good enough to reach the requirments. Could someone please imform me of these requirments?

You must be of Private rank or higher (2500+ B/P). You can apply to the Newgrounds Police Headquarters at your current rank, though.

They where the AKK, and all they did is wrong.

Meh, alright. I just wasted 2 1/2 hours waiting for the worst tree lighting ceremony anyone has ever seen. Luckily, I only spent a total of about 30 minutes outside. Depends upon the thread, depends upon the moderator. If he's viewed as repeat offending, then the first ban obviously didn't work, so why not ban him for longer, to see if that works?

Meh, I usually get a day ban, if not shorter. The longest ban I've ever served is a 3 day ban. I don't even remember what the ban was about.

Thanks Aldlv for making the update and to Stero for posting it up on here. and it seems i am still a bottom dweller but hopefully ot for much longer cause i am trying to raise my average and i have set out to catch one certain member in here and i will not quit until i catch them. /but i will not say who it is but i am aiming for mid pack so that is my long term goal for now.

If we didn't let them have their day, would that not encourage them to spam more. Surely if Ng tries to stop them posting flash, that is just more of a incentive for them to do it.

After Clock Day 2007, Tom changed the voting threshold, so that when you submit something with multiple authors, you have a higher threshold, based upon the number of artists co-authored. Now all we need to do is work on those who are submitting 'collabs' under one username only.

Ahhh. Thats a pretty good idea. I had noticed little things like users who usually work together on a series, their flash was only being submitted by one person. The example i'm thinking of wasn't the kind of spammy stuff the rule was implemented for but it explains a few things for me.
