It's all speculation now.
Let's wait till the revenue generated from the Revolution compares with the other two systems.
Yes, you have to buy old games you download off the internet, but I promise you my life it won't be $50 lol. I'd think around $10 - $20. Nintendo said that they were not intrested in finding all possible ways of taking a peak into your wallet. The point of them creating Revolution is to generate more new players and spark new intrest in gamers that have quit. They are finding ways to expand the gaming market. (Backwards compatibility as well as the unique yet simple design of the controller encourages new players to pick it up and try it.
There are going to be attatchments you purchase for the Revoulution's controller, though it comes with the joystick one.
Not to mention, people dismissing Nintendo because of the unique controller need to rethink. The controller most likely will not be used with EVERY single game available to the Nintendo. If this were true, games that developers release for the other 2 systems would become incompatible with the Revolution.
As I've seen some people say before, don't judge a book by it's cover. You were probably the same people that were skeptical of the analog stick when it was first introduced. And face it, games wouldn't be the same today without that.
For all the people saying it looks uncomfortable and saying their arms would get tired. The controller will have the add on components to transform it into the modern Gamecube controller. Also, the controller is slightly smaller than the average remote control (excluding used expansion ports).
