this time confusion is why doing 11:59PM or 12:01AM EST is best.

My awesome Italian friend KK Slider notified me about this contest, so I decided to compose a huge (it's like 3 minutes long, but the detail and depth is huge!), and this is the result! I am personally proud of this piece, and it will be my next best works in my entire history of musical creations. Like the OP said, there's nothing to lose! What they forgot to say... is that you can only gain from this! Grr. Silly OP.

July 15th 2013 as soon as the 59th second of 11:59pm EST (NG Time) passes, auditions are officially closed and the judging period starts. Hopefully that clears this up xD

Well, to get in, you'll have to (approximately) be in the top 25% of all entrants, assuming we get to 250ish auditions.
