The only exclusive at all that looks even decent is Dead Rising 3. Ryse is awful and everything else is multiplat. It's gonna take a while for it to have any games that could justify buying it for someone who isn't loaded like me. I think the biggest issue with the new gen is mandatory installs with only a 500gb (really less) HDD. Replacing the internal HDD voids the warranty, which is a HUGE issue for consoles that just came out. There's already been reports of both consoles bricking and after going through a ps3 and 4 360s last gen, making you choose between voiding the warranty or frequently deleting games is horrible.

As much as I agree, MS does have some great exclusives with great stories like Gears of War, sure it's better online, but you know, you can still play offline. But it isn't as good.

I hope the next patch makes it easier to quickly access your friends/messages/party. It is a bit better if you "pin" these things to the dashboard or just access them via kinect, but it's still a bit clumsy.

How much are you guys using the non-game features, like the TV stuff? With how busy I am with my own development, I hardly have time to play games these days, but some of the other features definitely interest me. I'm going to be getting on Xbox One regardless at some point, just trying to decide how long I should wait.

Wait a couple months, maybe longer. Long enough for the launch day bugs to get patched and good games to come out. Because if you're a casual gamer, you'll only be interested in the big titles that won't be coming until year. You're probably a big part of the demographic that MS was hoping to pull, the casual gamers that are looking for more out of their system, so I hope you enjoy it when you can get it.

I haven't heard much about the Xbox One (Because I spent my whole life playing Nintendo.) but I heard it doesn't play used games. But people say they've changed it. Basically, it's the 360, only -359

No it's not - And it never will be.
X1's hardware is incompatible with 360's and will never be able to natively play 360 games.
However, there is talk about cloud streaming 360 games, but that would require video compression, or a really good, fast internet connection.
