XB1 gets factory overclock

I think deciding which platform is better won't be as easy as everyone says, until Sony and Microsoft actually release their respective consoles. I intend on getting an Xbox One (yes, it's a stupid name) so I can compare and contrast it with the PS4 (which many of my friends will be buying) so I can later decide whether or not to get a PS4, if it is, indeed, better that the Xbox One.
Also, in response to the Kinect 2, I think it's fine that it comes with the Xbox One without having to purchase it separately. To me, the Kinect adds more possible command input to games, without physically putting more buttons on the controller. Although, responsiveness desperately needs improvement before the final release, as I have heard far too many sordid tales of how the Kinect 1 tragically misinterpreted commands, causing death, dismemberment, and cupcakes. (I never actually bought a Kinect 1, so I don't really know much about it.)

Wow, are they that desperate to compete with the PS4 even though it's been said by thousands of developers and fans alike, and ports will look the same on each console. Only for exclusives is when the graphics look the best.

The factory overclock seems to override the rumors of the GPU having performance issues. Considering 53MHz (roughly 6%) is not that high of an overclock, I would assume that they either hit a wall, or have yet to properly test it. Regardless, the devs upping the frequency shows that they do not intend to lower it as per the rumors, unless 800MHz was already a downclock.

I have no qualms with the GPU boost. It seems like in this situation, it can only help the XBOX One.

Not really, MS has fucked up their reputation and connection with fans and needs a game and some really amazing deals and shit to redeem themselves. Sure the free games for gold stuff is good, but they don't listen enough.

im a pc gamer, so i have my graphics department covered, im really investeed in the halo series though, read all the books, played all the games, so i might have a break from sc2 and dark souls pvp and pick one up!
