I hope the whole Mike and Walt argue while Jesse sits beside them on a couch and comes up with an idea thing doesn't become a regular thing. I liked it the 2 times they did it this season but I don't want that to become like a cliche.

New episode tonight, yesyesyesyes

I agree, I think it has served it's purpose to show that Jesse is becoming more of a thinker while Walt is being blinded by his desire to be top dog.

I'd agree with you there, It was funny at first. Second time around though, I was a bit scared they'd overdo this.
Now that things have made a drastic turn, I'd doubt they'd do it anymore. I hope for limited Skylar interaction in this episode, I want focus on Jesse and Mike.

Damn, a pretty good one. Walter makes more sense now as to why he's pushing to the extremes with his meth.
He's compensating for the fact he walked out on Gray Matter, and he is truly envious of that guy for not staying in.
Saul is a little bit sleazy, but not a terrible lawyer. He knows how to do shit, you've got to love how the DEA reacted.

I'm still counting down the days when it's all over for Walt and he has to go before Hank with Saul at his side. It's unthinkable that his planned empire will ever grow up to even near the level of Gray Matter though. Even if I were in his position, I would still just take the $5 million and run for as long as I can.

This, but walt's too much of a dumbass to not do it. How the hell are you going to explain to everyone "hey, I'm RICH NOW" no questions asked, if your "empire" grows that big?

-Take the 5, hell, take even less so you can launder the money properly.
-Leave Meth forever
-Get Family Back
-Winner winner chicken dinner.

This business is all I have left, and you;re trying to take that away from me.

The business is what lost you your family in the first place bud! Great episode, and I have pretty much started to actively root against Walter now, but that is not a bad thing at all. It took a lot of development and sharp writing to get me to turn against Walter.

Has anyone noticed the character progression in Walt yet? A man who sold meth for his family turned into a man who sells meth because he has no family.

Very clever turn around.

Did anything happen after Mike left the DEA office with Saul? My recording was too short.

Jesse decided to partner up with Walt again, and Mike is all pissed off holding a gun to him. There should be some episodes online by now

Walt may be a genius at solving problems, but he has no common sense whatsoever.

How are you going to explain how you got so much money to your family and friends? Laundering 5 mill properly could take years. Get out of the meth business, take like 1 mill and launder that. Get your Teaching job back or talk to the people at Gray Matter to see if you could get that back.

Then, tell skyler your done with Meth, get family back (worse comes to worse you get a divorce? Big whoop your rich). No one figures out it was you, become friends with Pinkman, No blue Meth on the market.

Only one stopping Walter from becoming Rich is himself.

I find the new way Walt is managing his operation to be ingenious, and I fucking love this show so much it isn't even funny. I watched all 5 seasons up to this point in less than a day and a half.

Remember in the second season when Walt was pretending to be getting his money from Gretchen and Elliot, and Walt pissed Gretchen at a restaurant? I doubt he's getting any job there now (he was offered one by Elliot in the same season, but Walt refused).

Easily my favorite scene of the episode, although I do like Skyler a lot less now than before. I understood before when she was scared and all but even after Walt assures her nothing is wrong she's still being a psycho.

The dinner scene was hilarious to me, I'm kind of an awkward person and I always try to break the ice in dinners with small talk and such trying not to show that I don't wanna be there, but that scene took that awkwardness to a whole new level.

I can't wait to see next episode to know what is the plan Walter has to keep all the methlyamine to himself. If Jesse agrees, then it must be fuckin' brilliant (at least on paper).
