I believe this is the second - the first being the massive TF2 update that came out a week or so ago, meaning that if Ep3 is going to be announced, that will be the third one. There is a good chance that the TF2 update isn't one of the three, though, meaning two more. I have a feeling that EP3 will be the final one, though.

I never thought I'd say that VALVe has dissapointed me. Not because of delaying Episode 3/Half life 3, I know it'll be like 20 years until that comes out. But WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? DOTA 2? A GAME THAT GETS CONSTANTLY UPDATED AND ALREADY HAS LEAGUE OF LEGENDS NOW HAVE VALVE DOING THIS SHIT? I want VALVe to make their own games, not re-hashes of old shitty games with major communities. Have they not seen League Of Legends? we don't need another DOTA, we need more portal, counter strike, half life, Day of Defeat, Left 4 Dead, or something new that isn't this crap. I was fine when they released Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, and I even preferred Portal 2 to Episode 3, all the DLC, is fine, etc

Valve has a great track record by doing things like, oh I don't know, revolutionizing FPS games in single and multiplayer, and modding? Let's not forget puzzle games either. Not to mention, they have Steam, and a shit ton of great games. One stupid product wont ruin the company. Although I do hope that Dota 2 doesn't get in the way of Portal 2.

They have different teams for practically everything, the same people who are making Ep3 are most likely not involved with this anyway, so this game probably doesn't affect their work at all.
