For your Nidoran drawing, I have been doing some searching and my hunch is you are basing you art on this? Whether you are or not, you are doing fine. If you want to be true to the pokemon manga/TV show, you may want to change those spots around the torso. They could have a more rough shape rather than perfect circles. I would recommend changing the tint from blue to a bit of light purple, but that depends on you. I hope you develop your own style of drawing.

No problem, hope what I said sticks!

Anyway I'm wondering, were you trying to copy it exactly? As your drawing has much heavier and present shadows. You can easily see huge differences in lighting between the two pictures. Just curious.

I'm not banned, this is just where I'm vulgar.

I used that a couple of other images for reference, but I'm pretty happy with how the image, came out, I'm not really trying to be true to any of the wish, just drawing the pokemons for warm ups. Anyways here's another one.

Yeah, I tried to copy the image in terms of shapes and what not but apart from that, I wanted to use my own judgement regarding to shadows and highlights and not the flat shading on the picture.

I gotta work on my shadows for sure, thank you for dropping by and leaving a message. I really appreciate it.

Anyways so after seeing Sabtastic's pokemons I realized I had messed incredible bad on my own series of illustrations, I was pretty much just drawing the official art but with new colors. So I think it would be best if I just redo everything again but this time actually do it in my style. Also, I like the idea of doing them randomly so I'll do them all randomly till I finish. I might be posting one a day, but I'll try my best. Without further ado, here's Shellder :D What do you think? Should I continue in this style or keep doing what I was doing?

Still not completely sure if I should continue doing this project in this style or the other. What do you think? Personally I'm having a ton of fun doing them this way, but maybe the other way would be better? Drop by, leave a comment, tell me what you think. Or not. But what I do want you to do though, is enjoy!

If you're having trouble deciding on a style then you're not doing enough. Do whatever makes you feel good and just keep doing it.

I'm not having trouble deciding on a style. I'm having more trouble determining which way to go with this project. I could keep doing what I was doing or redo everything from scratch like this. I like both styles, but I find this one's a lot more fun that the other one. I'm just gonna do everything in this style, or maybe just say "fuck it" and leave the one's I had already done and just continue the rest this way.

Okay, I must be missing something then, because that sounds like there's two styles and you're having trouble deciding which one. Just don't lose momentum is your best bet, and don't worry about a style.

I like this cel-shading style you've got going on for these last few.
