So slow the jets, watch the trailers and game play clips viewable at Dan's profile page. Think it over and create something really meaningful.
Yeah i actually agree with MaestroRage on this. I am glad to see that you are accepting music now, but honestly, without a contest, the people who arent excepted in this game (if they wrote music specifically for it) would have a huge let down.
Even the feeling of entering a contest, which you might win, is much better than working hard, and never knowing from you or anyone if you liked it, until the game is launched.
So there you go. Just a quick opinion there.
I doubt it's good enough but I'd love to see these in the game :D Not really sure what you're looking for though.
The first one is inda of a dark, chimey Ambience.
And this one is a darker piano ambience-ish song.
hey wait up people :P
I'll be making one or two, just until I get the sound I want cause I kinda know what you're looking for :)
sounds like a real medium-sized break for anyone who gets featured xD

Is that code for something that at this time the public isn't allowed to know much about? I just thought it would help my chances if I knew what kind of game it was, and then I could make music to match the story or setting or whatever.
If it really doesn't matter, than I guess I'll just make something "bouncy and fun"
You may not know this, but Tom Fulp (the creator of newgrounds) and the guy who just made this thread, Dan Paladin, made two games in the past called Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers. They are making a 3rd game, but just dont have a name for it yet.
I just sat down and popped out this one for Game 3 :D
I can't really explain it though ...

For what it's worth, I didn't just randomly choose songs. I know what the game is like, and I chose stuff that I genuinely think can work with the game...
Tile music, or a character's theme, you say?! Look no further than:
A lively city in the clouds, or perhaps an intro montage, even a boss fight?!
And if those don't tickle your fancy perhaps you would be interested in a song for a night time level?!
Regards,
merlin
i wanna jhump in this time. AND GET IN.
When some newer, more fresh demonstration of the game comes out, I will see it to get a fresher idea on the music i should go for.
Haha, I just made this one, Its really short, but it grows on you, Its a dorky, happy tune that fits alot of the Behemoth game moments.
A bouncy / catchy thrash metal song.Ignore the song title, I couldn't come up with anything better. Also, there is a delay in the track so I would recommend that you skip to 0:09 seconds.
Not a song I wrote, but a friend of mine wrote this one song on FL Studio and I recommended that he'd upload it to the audio portal on here because it's so good.

I'd also like to thumbs up that song for the upcoming game. I think its incredible and highly addicting and people will love it.
There's my first entry, hope you like it :)
Still needs a title as you can see ;)
Wow, this would be really cool to try out.. Maybe, just may I'll make something. Wouldn't want to dissapoint myself.
Something about Chuck Norris and music

This is supposed to be some epic boss fight music.
Tell me what you think.
Well i don't know if these are any good but here's a few songs of mine that might work, or not thats up to you.
Wind Off The Moon Lit Lake (Part 7: The Down Pore) / (Part 8: The Flood)
I might work on some other songs if there is more time, but i think these would be my best bet, unless you see one of my other songs as better as far as that would go. Anyways hope you enjoy and good luck with the game. =3
I made a game I think you might like for your game. I mean, a song you might like for your game... lol. It was inspired by defcon zero by paragonx9. It has a sorta 16-bit feel but has much better quality, and a kick ass melody line.

I love you forever for that.
But anyway. 136 songs later I made this pile of doody.
Here's some stuff you guys might like :3
Im sure you're tired of hearing my shitty shit, so this is the last piece I'll make for Game 3.
Here's a short one I made for an upbeat menu, or Character Customisation/Selection
it should loop ok^^
Some damn good artists going for this. I'm excited to see who ends up getting chosen.
finished the title screen/ random tune thing

I don't think you gain any money from it, but you'll get a hell of a lot of listeners and publicity

P.S These are the same guys that made Castle Crashers - and yes the audio composers got money.
