Pico Day 2009 Winners!

While Pico Day is my favorite day of the year, my least favorite is sorting the winners! It's all about the highs and lows, right?

I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated. It really is the best gift anyone can give, and I think lots of folks on NG get the same sort of joy I get from it. There were lots of visual treats this year!

Pico's Cool was my favourite this year, so I'm glad it won something. The Twins always know how to use a good piece of music in their flashes. Also, I like that Tankmen game by Peroxide, it reminded me of that Xbox 360 game, Small Arms. It's a real pity that dynamic camera thing screwed over the game.

Some really awesome entries this year... still have a bunch of awards I need to win from some of those games though!

Congrats to the winner, there was some great stuff this year. I really enjoyed Run, Darnell, Run!, Nogfish has made a great job, I loved the movie's style. I'm pretty sure it was a pain in the ass to animate. And I still haven't watched some of the runner ups :/ I guess I'll do it tonight :D
