Ok I've been playing along with some of these comments but COME ON. Shutting down the portals WOULD NOT make more money for NG so you guys HAVE TO REALIZE I'm being sarcastic / satirical / whatever when I say that stuff. But if you guys were even reading through this thread it would have been revealed to you by now that it was all a joke in the first place... It's both funny and sad how long this has been drawn out for some people.

Lolz. I think this happens every year around April Fools.. and lasts at least the whole month of April.. if not into May. Maybe not specifically to the site jokes.. but.. for ex:

Last year I made a joke.. with a newspost.. thread.. etc. that I got signed to a major label. Even though the thread only got to be 2 pages long.. and I said.. APRIL FOOLS.. within the first 10 posts.. people continued to be fooled day after day.. until the thread was closed on the 6th.

All the posts congratulating me on "getting signed" stopped at the first week... however.. I had people sending me messages on myspace.. IM.. etc... for the whole month.. =P

For a minute I believed newgrounds is unblocked.

Seems we will have to wait longer.

At first, I was confused as hell, and my nearby friend, who is... let's just say "not a fan" of commie china was really pissed off. THEN I saw the date, and laughed. I think my friend might've actually gotten more pissed, but then again, isn't that the point? Great job Tom.

I can hardly believe what I read. April 1st ... it happened on April 1st - this is an INTERNATIONAL thing last I checked. WTF!? Out of all the NG April 1st pages though, I enjoyed this one the most. Looking forward to next year.

i didnt even know what apirl fools day was. :S if i had known about it then i would have been rather passive. and why is ng being blocked in china anyway? because of communisum? and removing the blogs, audio portal and the flash portal would removing everything that ng was made to do. good thing it was a joke.
