.................................... i was disappointed at newground change, all shitty stuff appeared. Misleading video appear and my desire to stay on newground no longer exist. My first though of this conversion was interesting, i wish to know more about the Chinese culture through the newground.

As i watch the flash, i was rather disappointed with all the Chinese addition of old fashion music, the games, even title seem rather insulting for me to see that che Chinese are discriminating themselves. I even believe the voting system was rigged. Therefor this is too savage to even be consider as an April fools joke. Like, releasing out a monster

I also though that this was a April 1st joke.

Now I'm worried about Australia, I always wanted to visit that country, but if the web's gonna be censored, not only will I be angry, I'll feel deeply saddened for all of the country's residents. In my opinion, censorship is a creation of purte evil. It solely promotes ignorance and all non-private web filters should be bannished eternally. And this is something I will pray for.

Greatest April Fools joke ever

Lots of SLOW people visit Newgrounds, eh? I thought the joke was excellent, even if it did mostly use stereotypes that were several decades out of date (i.e. you won't find too many Chinese people or even government officials these days who have kind things to say about Mao).

It was quite fun to watch the joke unfold throughout the day, as progressively more and more words got filtered and things changed.

I'm also glad that the Flash I suggested to Tom ended up being put on the front page:

I thought that was BY AN EXTREME LEAD the all-time BEST website April Fool's joke EVER! I can say so because I am an expert on fools (see: name)

You guys committed to it so much, which was what really did it. If you only changes the theme and some images, and let people post and all that, it wouldn't have been nearly as great. Also locking out nearly all your content for almost a day was really ballsy and risky, but I think it led to a greater belief factor for the noobs who fell for the trick. The flashes and movies submitted were great and the BBS posts were also hilarious.

Nice leval icons like the person below me said. I thought it wasa great idea untill I logged on yesterday and saw even 8 bit waterslide was blocked from my view. Yesterday things were so bad I actually thought that the site was down and I would come back in an hour. Saddly I was greated with the same missing functionality. I mean it was all fine in good untill any movie you watch or post made gets changed or morphed into a chiniese social form. Im sry you had to negotiate for a year but I mean think about it if you nigotate for a year and there going to block everything you got to reprioratize.
