Reviews for "2-Bit Explorer"

got stuck on the four statues part and dont know what to do ):

Fiddleling responds:

Hello there! The statues right under the library? In the library you'll see a bunch of statues that are similar to those, but they have points carved on their chests. Remember their order and put the statues accordingly. Just remember to keep an eye for the formation they'll stop at for a sec so you can rearrange them later ;)

Good luck!

RPG themed flash. Black and white graphics are classic, but vibrant colors all over would be better. If you enjoy searching and exploring, then this might be the game for you.

played for quite a while, and had closed the game a few times and my saved remained, however, one day all my saves dissapeared, so i didnt complete the game, however however, what i did play was quite fun, there was a healthbar but i never found any enemies, the music was eerie and the books were interesting as well as the tools i collected, it did feel a bit strange to have some areas completely silent tough, where it feels like there shouldve been music
overall, what i played was quite fun, albeit a little lacking sometimes, it felt a bit empty, but it was interesting

good game

Much better than 1-Bit Explorer, with faster player speed, interesting story, and better level design. Still, there is some room for improvement:

1. Typos.
2. While the trapdoor patch is reasonable, it makes it harder to backtrack to Ana's chamber.
3. You shouldn't require players to brute force puzzles. The stepping puzzle with six combinations can be excused, but the statue puzzle (leading to the cult of Argos) with 256 combinations cannot be excused.
4. The waiting puzzle (that you have to wait instead of moving around) is still not very obvious. Currently the patchnote is a much better hint than the in-game cues.
5. The fan gate of the City should be placed much earlier. Very unfun when I went down the elevator, navigated the maze for 10 minutes, and then rewarded with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING because I didn't have the fan yet.

I have seen three endings, but I still think there are unsolved mysteries. Is Sarah's music box a red herring? And what is the dot map that appears once you solve the two-statue puzzle in front of Ana's chamber?
