Reviews for "Infectonator : Survivors"

Pretty good, took me a little while to figure things out but the game is not that easy as the first one. Yet that's an improvement. Looking forward its completion in order to purchase.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is to Taso. What exactly are you irked about? that none of the 3 classes are female? or that there is just a class is female alone? It seems like you're just reaching for something that isn't there. all it says is "Sydney" maybe she doesn't have a class because she's unemployed or a student. Obviously the game is in alpha though so there's a possibility that her "Trope" or class hast even been implemented. I mean at least she has a name, that automatically makes her stand out and more relatable than generic white scientist, scowling middle eastern firefighter, and disapproving black cop. The way it seems is that she could most likely be the all rounder or beginner character since but hey what do I know. keep on doin you, author.

I know it's a famous trope and all, but can you please not make "girl" a class when the rest are actual jobs?

Why is it presumed that "cop," "scientist," and "worker" are males? I love all the Infectonator games, but this little bit rubs me the wrong way.

Is there any way you could change it so the women aren't just a trope?

First of all, great game! I made a short playthrough of it, in case you were interested: <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0n5xF1pfQM>

This game has a lot going for it. I love the idea. It's a little different than your previous games, but I think it is awesome. I appreciate the scavenging, since a lot of these types of games focus only on the shooting and surviving waves. It feels much more like a survival game and less of a tower-defense game.

There were a couple of issues, though, that got in the way a little. First of all, it is stupid hard to click on the survivors at times. It got in the way multiple times. Especially if I was in a hurry and needed to do something quickly. It would be nice if that were fixed, so the game would be a little more playable at times. That is really my biggest complaint about the game.

The other complaint I had was how some of the controls were not very intuitive. I didn't know how to start a mission, or move to a new location. A little more instruction would have been nice. At least, at the beginning, so I could understand the basic mechanics of the game.

For the most part, though, the game was absolutely great! I really look forward to the finished project, and will definitely support you on Steam. Thank you so much for all your work! :)

just wow, the game is engaging, addictive, and challenging.

the one thing that I would suggest: when reviving a wounded comrade, the countdown should stop. I played several times and usually it was between reviving someone downed or allowing the undead to overwhelm the whole party.

other than that great game :D
