Reviews for "Trigger Knight"

I AGREE WITH J0EK1NG

The money system is seriously unbalanced. Other than that and the lack of story right now. It would be 10/10 and 5/5 . Keep up the good work

Way too random..

This game appears to be pretty good, nice concept and nice graphics. Im a lazy guy so the idea of an one game button seemed rather nice to me. The problem with the game, in my opinion, is that its randomness is very random. The only sure thing is that dragons appear after day 8, other than that it doesnt allow you to build a solid strategy. I think that the developer should ensure that there is no way that two dragons appear with less than 10 events between them. Lat time I killed a dragon, another one appeared after just 2 events. Impossible to beat. Also I think they should balance a little the distance between 2 shrines. Perhaps have always one appear when your lifespan is less than 50% or something. But then again, that would ruin the randomness of the game. I am currently level 24 and with my little experience I can share the following..
- I try not to upgrade my armor until I have used my first potion
- I usualy upgrade my sword first, which also helps with lifespan. The faster you kill enemies, the less lifespan you spend on them.
- I refill my lifespan after it reaches 40%. On rare ocassions I didnt make it in time
- Obviously I try to have with me a divine blade since its the only way ( so far ) to kill a dragon
- I still havent managed to buy a gold ticket and actually use it. Last time I bought one, the next monster was a dragon. I activated it just for the heck of it and perhaps the dragon chuckled a little before killing me.
- Maximum I reached I think was day 16 when I was killed by a dragon who appeared only a couple events away from the previous one who I killed of course with a divine blade
- Being able to carry just one item at a time might seem fustrating but I think that it shouldnt change since the gameplay's mechanics rely heavily on that aspect
All in all, its a nice game but I beleive its 70% luck and 30% strategy, a fact that I dont appreciate.. Still, I reached whatever level I reached which means I gave it more than a go and Im still playing it.

Errrr.....

This is fun I wont lie, BUT, some things to improve on for arthor and user alike. I died really quickly (Isn't the bar with the percentage the "lifespan"?) 80 percent, one hit from a rock guy and I die, still paying attention to the percentage bar, mind you. Not enough for the player (One click doesn't make a differeance from two clicks but adds more for us, the user, to do.) I just personally think, in my opinion, that the game is not finished.

some helpful advice and a review

One way that {usually} gets me to day 13 (unless i run into a dragon at low health) is focusing on buying sword upgrades then when you have low health buy a armor upgrade. as for elixirs\divine edge my preference is elixir in case you can't find an armor shop.
Some things to fix\add=It's a great game but some things to fix could be shops, on one of my runs I maxed out my upgrades and when I ran into a shop it wouldn't let me buy anything; that's understandable, but when you max out a particular equipment piece it would be nice if it would be replaced by a potion shop or the divine edge. Another thing that's commented WAY to heavily is the whole luck system and there is some credit to it, but one way to bypass it is to have some fixed sword\armor\potion\Divine edge shop, since it's infuriating to get one armor or sword shop right at the beginning and never run into another one after. One of the other things to fix could be the battle itself, and I don't mean change it to click to attack I mean make something like a speed stat that helps in attacking or make it blow for blow, I died to a dragon because he got three consecutive hits on me, but the same happened to him with my character. Probably the thing you should look to fix is when you can run into a dragon, personally I think you should have a fixed dragon encounter on say day 13 or 15 and from there on you can encounter dragons, instead on day 7. Something that could be added is the use of the right mouse button another slot for an item perhaps? You could make one inventory slot and one magic slot and put in shops of black or white magic e.g. the black magic shop could sell flare which is like divine edge and the white magic sells either full-heal or auto revive (the auto revive would be extremely rare, rarer then the gold voucher and be very expensive). If you decide to put the magic suggestion in maybe you could put in mp, and the potion shop could sell either potion (restores all health), ether (restores all mp), or the elixir (which is the cure-all)(but for the potion shop when you click it for ten or so seconds it would bring up the shop menu with all of the items for sale, elixir costing the most), and to upgrade your mp you would need to upgrade both armor and weapon by one level e.g. 100 mp at lv 1 when sword and armor gets to level 2, mp lv 2=150. Anyway I've talked long enough and my final review of this game is 7\10 4\5 great game some things to fix an I hope there is a sequel to this. p.s. you might want to think up of better protips.

Very fun! This game will keep you addicted for a while. I liked the challenge and the gameplay style of it. Great game, I enjoyed it.
