Original, but lacking in some areas.
While the game is indeed very creative and original in its own right, has a damn good sound track, and truly does have proper RPG elements, I found that a few simple things could be improved that weren't. For one, the armor seems to ONLY increase health, meaning you don't get extra defensive points as time goes by, which creates an issue around day 10 and beyond. Also, the buildings all look exactly the same. At the very least, you could change the shrine to actually LOOK like a shrine, rather than exactly like every other building.
Another issue, as several others have pointed out, is the games obvious random tendencies. Personally, I like a game where winning is not a matter of chance, or in this case, which order the shops come in and when the dragon comes to slaughter you. Admittedly, if you're lucky enough, you can eventually win, but the "luck" and "eventually" parts are pretty bumming. Finally, every protip after 13 seems to be completely useless or very obvious.
With these flaws aside, the concept and replayability are both fantastic, although with them I still can't seem to get to 100% completion.
