Lots of fun

It gives of a Dead Space vibe, I don't know if that was what you were going for exactly, but it does with the extraterrestrials on a condemned space hulk somewhere and the the email, side story pick-ups.

It was a lot of fun, a great game and an interesting story, but what kept me from sticking this at 10 was that on the last security door on level 3, I believe, I glitched into a wall and couldn't fix it. I could still shoot at the monsters, and move (but only within the bounds of the wall). Maybe you could look into that?

Thanks for the review, and playing the game.
So many people have mentioned Dead Space, which is understandable, but I've honestly never played it. For me Rapture in Bioshock was more of an inspiration. We wanted more of the owlman cult stuff in there, shrines with candles etc. but we just ran out of time.

As to the bugs, my hang-over is dying down to just the level of nasty, so I'm going to start on v1.1 today. Hopefully that'll avoid any more 2 scores in the reviews :)

Like the game, buggy for me though

Enjoyed the gameplay, like how u kept the pulsey sounds from alien. I'm not going to say it's just a rip off because to me it's a good tribute. Had trouble with the gaming fading to black and disregarding my progress when changing tabs or watching the video in the second level. Gameplay and presentation, no complaints at all mate well done.

Could be so much more

I have to agree with other posters;
This game looks superb, it has fluid gameplay, all the technical aspects work out well.
But the actual gameplay is lacking.
First off, there is balance; A pulse Rifle with FMJ is really all you need.
A bit more differentiation would be nice, range, ammo, damage, spread, strengths versus enemy-types... that stuff.
The level design often gets you stuck on stuff you really don't recognize as an obstacle.
Still, I spent over an hour on it, and it was mildly entertaining, so I expect thew second installment to improve.

good game

although i stopped 5 mins into the game, HUGE audio bug after 1st encounter, i thought it was the ship crashing and was over amplified.

+ new doors cant be opened anymore.

please fix thanks.

Were you playing this offline ? Please give me a pm if you _weren't_

Huge lag at some points.

Laggy, doesn't seem like it'd pass off as an intense, because you can sort of see the enemies ahead of time, nice items, guns, and those type of things.
