Reviews for "Madotsuki's Dream Dock"

Am I supposed to review the music?

Well, as far as I'm concerned, this isn't really a Halloween piece, so if you're going to try and get that sorted, generally people need something scary, as opposed to mournful - that would be for All Saints Day, on November 1st, when all of the horrors have gone to bed for another year and the good in the world comes out to clear up the mess.

I've watched this piece, clicked all that I could and found nothing scary, creepy or indeed worthy of Halloween, to be honest. The buildup spent far too long to get to a bit of a damp squib of an ending, so I'd recommend that you go back to the drawing board and get something a little less long-winded and boring, to give us more entertainment, otherwise the warnings just make it even more of an anti-climax.

Switching the character for other bits and pieces weren't enough to keep me entertained for the duration of the song, so I was quite disappointed with the presentation as a whole.

Pienkaito responds:

I guess, you didn't find that final (and true) ending of the interactive animation.
Because that was why there's a warning in the first place. =P

Anyway, I'm sorry for letting you down.
It was never indeed to be scary. (except for that one part)
I wanted to create an atmosphere, that varies on different people.
Some people found it depressing and some found it calm. There were a few people who think that this was actually scary, because of the weird shit that is happening.

Like I said, I'm sorry for the disappointment, but I'm still thankful for the well-written review.

As you say in the description, it was a mistake to label this as a point and click game. It is not even a game at all, it's a movie. I don't know what you mean by "interactive loop", but the fact that the appearance of the girl changes every time you click it doesn't seem very interactive to me, seeing as it is completely pointless and has no effect whatsoever on the whole movie. Maybe if the flash were labeled a movie and not a game, I wouldn't have found it so bad, but as it is, I wouldn't even have watched it until the end if hadn't been for the other ratings and reviews, out of sheer boredom because simply nothing happened. Yes, you said this in the description, so it wasn't completely unexpected, but it was still terribly boring. You're lucky I even saw the ending, because after some time I started reading the reviews while the movie was playing to find out whether I would miss anything if I simply quit watching it. Having seen the ending, I suppose you added that minimal interaction and the hotspot on that other figure that appears on the right, where nothing happens if you click it, in order to raise expectations that you can really interact with the movie so that the ending is even more of a shock. I can't say that it worked, because the ending didn't really frighten me.

okay u need something else for the game to do i suggest ach form have there own ending.
like the little child you can have it where the kid experinces an orphangy and is adopted and dies in a cellar room hidden by furnature with her step brother and is stuck there with the witch`s ghost(the one who locked them in the room) but all of them end up in the after world.
(read call it wills for details)
thats an idea for the child form others who play can post there ideas on here but i think it will work great so good luck
