Great Game.
I see how some people are saying that the sand helped them sometimes, if you beat the "Quick Sand" mode try "Lava Mode" after it's so much more difficult.
The sand helps you sometimes.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and and assume it's intentional, but on a number of levels I was using the sand as an elevator when I could have beaten them with jumping (if I had tried like 20 times). Once I realized the flying spikes won't fly through sand, it got even easier.
So, 2/3 frantic grinding, 1/3 patience? Not actually a bad way to go--again, assuming you intended it.
