One big flaw!
I really like the implementation of retro-styled graphics and sound effects, as they don't feel cheap but suiting. The soundtrack is very relaxing and the game would definetely soak me in IF it wasn't for those unnecessary long breaks between the levels, that just pull me out of the atmosphere every single time.
Creativity Abounds
I've spent countless hours of over the past few years playing flash games when I'm bored or simply have nothing else better to do. I can honestly say that it is rare to find a game that is different and creative amongst the massive hoards of flash submissions on Newgrounds, and because of this, games that are truly unique are not only appreciated, but also admired.
This game drew me in an instant (no pun intended) and had me wanting more. A few times, I found myself just moving the gravity wells around to make swirls and designs with the gas and almost forgetting about the game itself. When I did actually play the game though, the game had just the right amount of difficulty to it: a level that lets some be challenged and others enjoy.
I would have given this an 8, but giving it a 9 just seemed more right. Now, the reason as to why is because I would like to have seen just a few more particles and ones that weren't so pixilated. I know that that is the style of the game, but I just feel that this game could have been so much more breathtaking if there was greater detail. Now, that being said, I have nothing else to really say about what I didn't like.

I honestly probably should have pushed the particle limit harder, but my laptop sucks and I was really worried about bad performance for people with old computers. If I do an EON 2, it will for sure be bigger and badder ;)
Cool Concept!
Although I'm pretty much tired to beat lvl 18, this is still a cool and original concept. And the editor option is supreme. Congrats!
