I liked this quite a bit actually, it's my first taste of the "Sketched" series. I specifically think you did well on the lip syncing and expressions ("Oh my God he wasn't kidding!"). It's a shame you didn't animate the break dancing but I read your response to another review mentioning the same thing and I understand why.

In the clamor to gain viewers we are always thankful for everyone who watches our work, especially people who are new to the Sketched series. It's also always good to hear what people like in our work so we can aim to please in the future. I hope you will keep an eye out for more cartoons in the future and maybe even check out a few or our previous submissions.

Kept getting better
At first, this didn't look like anything too great, but the overlongness of the gag only make it funnier, not to mention how he was telling the truth at the second to last thing.
Awesome man, I'm glad you liked it, I'm also glad you stuck with it long enough to enjoy it even though your expectations are initially low, you don't always see that kind of respect paid on the internet. you really should have animated
the break dancing. It was VERY noticeable when the camera never switched to the dancers and it just lingered on the guy.
I absolutely 100% agree with you. I think it is important for myself as an animator to know my limits however, and I know I would not be able to do a break dance scene justice so I decided to leave it up to the viewer's imagination.
I do learn more about the animation medium with every short we do, so hopefully in the future I will not have to make such cuts. I also hope to build a network with some of the great animators here on New Grounds that can help me with such things, so if anyone out there is interested in helping with a "Sketched" project, just give me the heads up.
