How did this make the front page?

This game isn't interesting, it doesn't introduce anything new, and the controls and fighting system is just bad.

The only reason this game got 3 stars is that is has nice animations and graphics. Nothing beautiful, but paired with good gameplay, it would actually make a good game better, or a bad game playable... o.0

I would recommend taking off the attack stun system. Why would little goblin fuckers not be stunned by a sword slash, but you, an armored knight (or soon-to -be knight) be stunned when a little dagger cuts him? I think if you get stunned they should get stunned.

Light attack and heavy attack have almost the same attack speed, i think light attack should be sped up a bit. I couldn't bother to play the game long enough to know what the special does so I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and say it gives the result of a couple dead goblins. Given the attack system, it would probably be the best way to kill anything.

This game could go somewhere if you just made the attacking and killing and such, fun? It would make a difference.

Try playing Achilles, on this site, and make something similar to that.

I just played Achilles. Pretty good game. I see you also get stunned by attacks, but only by bosses. It gets boring after a while, but I see what you mean with different attacks and such. Will definitely keep that under consideration. Thanks!

Boring...

The goblin camp is way too hard to beat and all you have to do is spam the light attack and block to regen health. My favorite was when you went to jump over an arrow or a spiked ball it would still hit you bring you back down instantly and then all the ground guys would kill you in an instant. Everything hit like a train. Too much running required sure its supposed to be pretty but it wasn't that pretty to make use run a marathon. Make the game more interesting and a tad easier.

Sorry you found it too hard and too boring. I'll try to improve in the future. Making this game has taught me a lot. I know about the jumping flaw and all the other little ones as well, but one thing...sssshhhh.. the spiked balls cannot hurt you at all when jumping, even if your feet would hit them.

He moved to slow and wasnt a very good transition between moverments.

Buggy

This games buggy as hell, you can be in air and still get hit by the arrows and other things.

Yeah, the jumping is flawed and causes much more irritation amongst players than I expected. It was the best I could do at the time off course, and I have learned so much while making this game that Im pretty sure I will be able to rectify that and other flaws in the sequel. Thanks for the review.

Stupid

every enemy has an advantage. and don't even get me started on the stupid cave.
Was okay at first, but it just got ridiculous with the vomiting spider. He basically summed up how I feel about this game.

The big spider in the cave can definitely be defeated if you use strategy, but sorry if this game frustrated you :( I know it is not perfect. It's one of the first games I've ever made and I apologize for all its imperfections. I'm still learning and improving, but I think I've gotten a lot better after all these years :)
