Reviews for "An Unfortunate Corpse"

Nice Poem

Too bad that was the majority of the flash. Using flash as a medium to present written works can be done well but unfotunatly this isnt a poetry website, its a flash website. People expect to see poetry as an element, not the main attraction. If you had done an adaptation of the poem in visual form, that would have been better. This was just a sidescroller. Sorry, but as much as I appreciate the written word, I appreciate focus more. Please more flash next time, less words. Felt like poetry masquerading as a flash.

On a more positive note, you definatly have artistic ability in both flash and concept, so I would suggest you focus more on that. Good Luck!

Nicely done for the most part

I really liked the animation but my only issue is that there wasn't very much of it. I felt like this wasn't really a cartoon so much as it was a prologue for what could become one.

The animation was a little choppy, you might want to animate at a higher framerate. And like I said, the entire experience felt a little incomplete the way it was. I kept feeling like the cartoon was ABOUT to begin, and once I reached the end it seemed a little bizzare.

Oveall a pleasant experience though.

very good

I thought this was done quite well. the poem is great, the animation is well drawn and the music was nicely picked.

I loved it

and to cross666, A. if you found that hard to read, you must either be dislexsic or retarded,
B. I think the final fantasy song made it very interesting, i think it was the perfect song to use there.
C. I have to agree on the narrator part, since there is only a story to be read, a narrator would ake up for the lack of visual story.

Thats another thing you could improve actually, instead of him waling through the grave yard, you could have put a slide show of ictures realting to the part of the story, with the narrator reading, and then do the graveyard bit at the end, or even do it anyway, with the pictures popping up with the story.

nice

a lot salad finger's style. very good.
