Reviews for "Azul Baronis"

this is the koolest game of all time!!! well done!

this game could do with the following:

1. Multiplayer mode
2. Campaigns
3. More ships AND the ability to use all of them
4. More bosses
5. Ability to use the radio and give commands and even hear voice-overs
6. Different stages, not just the same old looping square

i know this game was made to be a high-score game with no un-fair advantages, but a sequel with all of the above features would indeed be a welcome treat as there arent many good campaign 1 player games on the net, and there arent even any real good high-score games, and although i havent mastered this game by a long shot as my high scores are pretty shit, i love it to bits! its a challenge in my mind to get to level 5 and take down the mothership (which is a pretty kool boss!). It would be good also if i could have a mothership of my own in some levels...
My only true disappointment is that once when i played i got the mothership on level 4, than i got it on level 5 as well... ive never lost on the mothership until i got it on level 6 as well... ive never passed level 6... but i did set my high score of 89,500 during this same run!!! oh, if u look at the high scores... look at the lowest score which stands at 0... SNIPER!!! lol that was my hard work and its not easy to get 0 coz all the other ships keep killing enemies and they make a score of 100 before i can "END" the whole fleet lol. Great game thanks it amuses me for hours on end i cant get enough even though i totally suck ass at it its just so addictively kool!!!

too addictive...

A very nicely made game. It's nice, clean, and simple which makes it very addictive.
The controls are easy to use. The AI is fairly challenging. The graphics are perfect for a mass unit flash game.

My only complaint is that there should be another mode.
Maybe a mode where you could create the number of forces you control and are facing against.
Oh, and a restart button would be nice. Perhaps at the cost of losing half your points?

Tip for an *almost* guarantee win:
Use the Destroyer
Strategy:
1. Get all of the enemy ships to tailgate you.
2. Left click the area behind you. Most of the time you will be shooting rapid shots at an extreme angle.
3. De-accelerate until your shots become homing missiles, then immediately accelerate to max speed while continuing the missiles.
Rinse and repeat until everything is destroyed
How it works: the AI doesn't shoot at ships beyond it's "window", providing you with a safe method of destroying the ships.
It works against the tetsudon too, but you will have to go at a slower speed

Wow, about time

Wow man this game is great.

Fleet vs fleet stlye is awesome and i'm glad somebody finally used this

I too, like the ability to use sound or not

Its quite funny when it comes up saying "OMG Flight HAXX".

Very simple yet amazing game and modes or not, alls this game will need is more ships, another type or two.

AI is pretty smart and plays like a player (Not an entirely skilled one but one thats up to the challenge)

Now if played half of the games on Newgrounds and this one definatly makes it in to a top 5 count.

Great Game

Graphics - Simple but Effective full score for this
Sytle - A unoriginal idea of fleet versus fleet yet the style you choose makes it unique full score again
Sound - Your able to choose if you want sounds or music again full score
Violence - blowing things up but it isnt exaggerated enough to be super violent
Interactivity - Was pretty good but you can still add more options and ships
Humor - Not rated high or low but it did make me laugh when you get over 14+ kills and i laughed when i got my 18th kill

Holy freaking Hell o.O Great game indeed this is going to be a great timewaster for me for a long time. I hope there will be a sequel to this type of game with different modes (storyline mode, skirmish mode Etc) Ill be looking forward to any other submissions you make too.

Oh so addicting!

I really enjoyed this game. I enjoyed it so much that I created a newgrounds account just to review it!

Graphics - 8: The graphics aren't incredible, but for what the game is, they work perfectly. And you know, I just like the ship designs.

Style - 8: I haven't played many games that feel like this one - even though the concept (fleet vs fleet) isn't original at all! The aiming system was fairly unique and made it much more challenging, as well as the destroyer's missle/rapid fire firing system. (I would suggest, however, not forcing you to self destruct in order to initially control a destroyer - maybe there should be a button to simply rotate between ships? If so, I would suggest that doing so would reset your kill count.)

Sound - 8: I rated sound 8 for the music, because I really enjoyed it. Gets the blood going! The sound effects themselves are nothing too special, but they get the job done and add to the game.

Violence - 2: There are some explosions... what else is there to say?

Interactivity - 5: Could have been better, could have been worse - there wasn't a whole lot of customization aside from being able to switch between ships after dying. Also, it would have been cool if there had been more of a way to coordinate attacks with allies, especially vs. motherships (it's hard to actually respond in time to the little chat messages that appear at the bottom of the screen). More gameplay options would have been cool, too. (More on that later.)

Humor - 0: It's not meant to be funny, why does this rating matter?

Overall - 9: I loved this game! There are only four things I wish this game had.

1) Online multiplayer - hey, a guy can dream, right? :p

2) More controllable ship types (but not so many as to be too complicated).

3) Upgrades of some sort - either you could earn money to buy upgrades (but this may make the game too similar to some others) or maybe you could get health or weapon upgrades as your kill count went up.

4) More gameplay options. For example, maybe a skirmish mode as opposed to story/wave mode, maybe a "destroy the opponent's mothership' mode in which you had infinite lives, and maybe simply a "get to __ kills first" mode.

Tons of fun! Good job!
