Reviews for ""Get A God" #2"

hehe, i deffinatly like what you're doing

hehe, i'm agnostic myself (though i lean pretty heavily to atheist), and i'm glad that you're giving both sides of the coin the run down. i know i can't expect you to continue this series forever, but make sure that as long as you DO continue it, that you continue to infuse it with original ideas and jokes. (note i've read your responses to reviews and know that you've only writen the first 4 episodes and might not continue past that).

Cambo responds:

Ah yes, you're a vigilant fan I see. I'm agnostic too - like it matters - but I used to be, earlier in life, both Christian and atheist. Having said that, I'm going to rubbish anybody's core values just because I disagree with them, you know? That'd be so arrogant.

So, I've gotta show both sides if I don't want to be yanking everyone's chain. I'll release an atheist ep or two - who knows, maybe a third character is in the works?

Right now mate, I've written what I THINK will be the newest episode. It's more political than the others though. I don't know, I want to expand the series because I think that if I don't develop it, it'll become stale and a little self-parodying. We'll have to see how it's received. If you, or if any of you guys, have any ideas for an issue you'd like to cover or anything you want to see, give me a shout.

lmao

Christian hip hop. How did u come up with these sorts of things!? Ur movies r probably the most original ive seen since David Firths "Sockclops". U point out the differences that Christians make against athiests hilariously but not making it racist. This better be a long running series cos i love this kind of humor.

Cambo responds:

I've got the first four episodes written, but after that I don't know how long I'll make the series. It's not something I want to be doing forever, but at the same time there are a lot of issues to try and cover.

What I'm trying to do is take away the moral high ground and assumptions Christians make about atheists and general heathens, because it pisses me off. I haven't seen Sockclops, but when I'm finished writing this I'll check it out.

I'm not trying to offend anyone - I've got a few episodes lined up that make fun of atheists too, but I'm not sure if I'll release them just yet. Atheists say a lot of dumb stuff too, you know.

I think this series is having a good run so far, and it's great because I actually think people are learning from these. Part of the humour comes from people noticing the irony, and that's really cool for me.

Thanks for the review mate.

copied on apple add

Well I dont know if it is an intentional rip off of apple adds, but you took its music, the concept is recognizable, etc. Again, if it was intented to do so, it is well done cause I instantly recognized the add.

Cambo responds:

It's not 'copying', it's parodying. There are legal differences. But that's the joke.

Ah, how I hated the real advert...

Mitchel and Webb are *not* funny. You on the other hand, are. A very neat parody, and excellent sound quality. You do get a few gaps in limbs when they move and stuff, but that's so minor, it really doesn't matter.

I think I will add you to Fav. Artists. Congrats. ^_^

Cambo responds:

Thanks, I spend a lot of time optimising sound. Half the time making these films is getting the timing right.

Favourited? Excellent!

Nice

That was pretty funny, I liked it.
I do love thing that mock comercials so this adds a lot to my oppinion.
Thanks for the good animation!

Cambo responds:

You are welcome my son.
