Reviews for "SSAM #5"

Okay..

I've watched this series intermittantly.. I simply have to say that the ending was one of the laziest I've seen from someone with obvious talent.

Creation is a bitch.
Animation is painstakingly murderous on your social life.

But when you make a commitment to a story, you should either complete it or just not bother. The animation was smooth and the music appropriate. Your storytelling ability is poor. Anything, even a five second flash into the future, with the title character forever grieving/dead/WHATEVER... Would have been a better completion than the supposedly SHOCK ending that you gave.

It seems VERY apparent to me that you simply wanted to end the project. Understandable, but you put it up here for public viewing. I think it was DAMN lazy of you and way below your abilities.

OurGuardian responds:

Yup.. guess you're right.

Wtf?

The ending did not make any sense, why would some random guy shoot a couple? I bet you were just trying to be lazy and end it abruptly.

god...

Hilarious. The story is so horribly cliche and simplistic it's funny.
Unfortunately its not intended so its just bad...
Cheap south park style with even less actual animation, bad voice acting, cheesy music, horrible horrible horrible story.

I give it a 1/10 for existing.
Still...pretty funny.

Im sorry, what?

Really? That's it? No development whatsoever to a crippilingly destructive end? That is awful.

This is like a joke with no punchline.

Graphics: Well, after watching the ENTIRE series and seeing that it didn't develop in any way, didn't take on a style that the author showed or expressed himself through, and generally stayed bad, ripped-off, and simple, I don't think it deserves even a mediocre score. The original okay animation has stayed the same, and that has soured it.

Style: Still Awful. Still Hackney. Still Ripped-Off. Still sweet. Not garbage any longer, though. It's more like metaphorical vomit on the face of originality and, come to think of it, taste.

Sound: No compliments. No complaints.

Violence: A gunshot doesn't connotate violence very well, but it does make the mind associate it with death. So there's that.

Interactivity: Doesn't matter much in the way of movies.

Humour: The fact that I sat through this torture to find nothing could be IRONICALLY hilarious I suppose, but other than that, no.

Overall: I need lessons from you, I think. I need to know how to get something ridiculously awful and disgusting (such as thisflash movie) to be scored high enough to be a daily winner. I don't think that I could do it on my own.

Good job on an absolute nothing.

That. Was. Awful.

So... Boring...
The only two lines in the entire thing sounded REALLY bad. I think it would've been better to just have text at the bottom of the screen like at the end.
It really was an AWFUL cliché.

At the end, was it still in England?
(this has nothing to do with the cartoon but it still annoyed me)
Street signs in England aren't like that AT ALL. And, the amount of times there is a crazy guy who has a gun in England is like, never. A knife, maybe, or a broken bottle. A can of White Ace, most definately. Research the country you send your characters to, even just a teeny bit. Really. It makes it more believable.
