i like it
incredible animation. though rather slow moving and there were a few un-necessary pauses. but it was really awesome one of the best i've seen. keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing the next episodes

A good start...
Watch the pace. Sitting waiting for something to happen is not particularly entertaining. Looks like it could be the start of a great series.

Lioncourt is the best voice actor!
Interesting but a little too much like Evangelion.
I enjoyed this short, but it felt too much like Evangelion. From the very long pause to the episode title, it just felt like,"been there, done that." Not to say there wasn't any effort put into this, it has potential but try and ease off the Evangelion influences.
Otherwise, it's an interesting start to a hopefully good series.

Pretty good, but needs refinement.
It's not bad, it's just that there are some points when nothing is happening at all and the camera angle stays the same. I like your style of animation and I hope you make more of these, but one of the reasons Xin was so popular was it's cinematic presentation. If you could make this 'look' more interesting, meaning that the characters look less stoic, then you'd have front page material. Also I noticed the quality inbalance between the main characters and the stand ins. Your main characters are well drawn, yet the rest of the school leaves much to be desired in the detail. If you could just add some details, like have your characters look more energetic like their voices do. No one wants to look at a pretty picture not moving, give it a sense of flight. But that's all I've got to say, otherwise you're a good artist and I hope you don't get discouraged and continue with this series with some minor adjustments.
