Sonny 2 is a combat based RPG where you play as a Zombie, level up and gain items to advance to the next Zone.

Hello World,

Sonny 2 is finally here on Newgrounds! Sorry for the long wait, but we really had to make sure that the major glitches and bugs would be fixed before it's published. This version also has two additional Zones more than the original Sonny 2 release! Here's what the game contains:

- 5 Story Zones.
- 3 UNIQUE Character classes.
- 3 Difficulty game modes.
- Fully voiced dialogues and cutscenes.
- Improved AI!
- A Local PvP Mode.
- 2 Bonus "Boss" Zones.
- Loads of new items, characters, and spells.

I hope you have as much fun playing this as you did the first one! If you thought that the original Sonny was easy, then I recommend you start this game on either Challenging or Heroic mode :)

PS: "Legend" unlocks Zone 7. GL HF.

So atmospheric. I play Septic flesh as background music and it fits perfectly, especially Sumerian Daemons. Can't tell if it's better than Sonny 1. I like them equally.

One of the classic Flash games and a definite good one!

Since the information doesn't seem to exist on Newgrounds, if you want a shot at getting to Zone 7 and thus a shot at even facing the Corruptor you will need to play in Heroic difficulty only! You will also need to get through the entire game without ever using the training fights, even beyond Captain Hunt and all the way through the Mayor. Only if you do that does Zone 7 open up, which is in no way indicated you would need to do that at any point in the game, so good luck discovering that by "accident".

Once you've unlocked Zone 7 by doing the above, you can then go use as many training fights as you want to grind up and become extremely strong for some of the absolute toughest remaining fights in the entire game!

If you don't do the above, then the game ends when you defeat the Mayor and you don't get to play Zone 7.

How do I know all this when I don't (yet) have the Predator or Over the Ashes medals? It's because I remember playing this game years ago before I ever signed up for a Newgrounds account and this information was mentioned elsewhere. I don't remember if I might have done it with the Hydraulics class though, which would not be an option on Newgrounds. So you'll have to somehow manage with one of the two classes Newgrounds allows.

Hope it helps anyone wondering what was up with that final medal and how on earth when there was no Zone 7 (unless you do the above)

Only shame is that it's impossible to use Hydraulics on NG (they are my favorite class) and that loot is random and requires some save-scumming to get the best drops in order to aquire the Predator medal.

Other than that this game is simply amazing. I really hope sonny 3 comes to existence.

Sonny 1 and 2 alike are extremely nostalgic games for me, and I can see why. Revisiting this game, I can easily see why I used to spend countless hours perfecting me and my party's team synergy, and decking us all out with cool looking gear, that was also beneficial to us. You can customize your personal build to fit your play style perfectly, and you can safely bet that it will be very well balanced and fun to play. The vast majority of the dialogue in sonny 1 & 2 are very well written and voiced out, and the characters are memorable and the good kind of creepy. The game has a well established dark setting, hell, even your character is a zombie with alzheimers desease. While the AI Is not exactly genius, you can change the overall behavior of your teamates with the simple push of a button. Overall, Sonny 1 and 2 are masterfully created, tight, fun to play games with an overwhelming amount of depth for you to sink your mountain dew-infused teeth into.
