Im beign sent to another camp tomorrow, lasting for the whole week, and Im not sure how the weekend vacation will go for me, if it will at all. Im not sure what my duty is in that rookie camp, Im propably going to deliver the rookies some food during the camp... I'm so full of this cr**, and I seriously dont give a damn anymore, but, its 159 days left so... :P

Hopefully I can do some sketches there.

Anyway, on a short break again, but unfortunately, the camp didnt offer me a single chance to draw anything. So, no new works, Im afraid. If I can gather some motivation, I might draw Algra tomorrow. In a HUMAN form! You heard me.

In the meanwhile, I wasnt completely satisfied with Algra's armor trimming, so I changed them... and once I did, I couldnt stop doing other color changes (like fixing her eye color). So, heres a small alternatively colored version.

I'll try my best. Im currently planning pn updating all the pictures in my profile, but today I'm also going to draw some more sketches, including Algra while she's human.

While she must have some similarities, I plan to change the overall style enough so it's not an excact copy of her half-demon varitation. And maybe, just maybe I can get a human face right this time...

Alright... So, I didn't excatly want to make Algra look like a direct copy when she's on human, so I changed her overall style quite a bit. But I think you can still tell some similarities in her.

And yes, she's not white.

I also whipped another sketch, this time featuring my oldest char.

So, I couldn't resist the urge to draw her once again.
And I propably cant resist the urge to color her too, esspecially when I changed her color to cool black (the reason for not having it colored black with a pencil is due to the fact I use 1 pencil only, and that is mainly used for lining only.) .

So, after I have updated some userpage pictures, I think its time for Kamata!

i love the chars. they are like dragons. so cool. i've never thought of so animal like things in fantasy, i've used a fox and a cat though. Check out the thread "Awesome Animals" It has all sorts of mixes of animals, including some dragons. Feel free to use them if you need, just change it okay? Love the big heads seriously. AWESOME!!!!

Yes, dragonlike, but not quiet. The earlier versions looked a lot more like crocodiles, but luckily I have managed to get past that.

Well, she's a complicated person, and judging from the dripping blood in her Blue Rose blade & the off-hand blade, she's just killed someone... or something.
It's not easy beign a half-demon either...

That said, now I feel I must someday draw her while she's using her full-demonic form!

Took me forever to line her, then it took me long enough to fix her legs a little, only to find out her lower dress was so screwed that I had to redesing it almost completely.

But I managed with the lining today.

When I get to coloring, I might try out a new coloring method, would be faster for me, but only if I can get it working.

Well, the new coloring method did work, after all. Good news for me, that is, since the method is moderately faster than before, and the quality isn't affected by all.

Decided to turn Kamata's color black from now on.
And, I felt like trying out a nice little night sky in the background, and I guess It didn't turn all bad. Though the water-reflection is something to be desired...
Overall I'm happy with the outcome, as usual.

I like the colors in this picture, everything flows well and compliments each other. I also like the fact that you consistantly finish your pictures- unlike myself- I admire that. My question is how do you motivate yourself to finish a picture?

I guess it's that famous Finish determination of sorts. I simply force myself to finish them. Thing is, though they take time and work, comments make it all worth it. I like showing my art, even as simple as it is, or perverted as it is.

So, next time you think you should finish a picture, just blody do it and dont give "maybe later" any thought.

You say the comments make it worthwhile, then I guess that is the source of my problems. I put out stuff expecting praise or critcism and get neither. But just putting out sketches like I do doesn't really make people really want to comment and spend their time if I don't spend my time finishing my product. ^^ Yeah that was just an interesting revalation that I thought I would share. Hey, I only finish a very small number of my pieces. I think your stuff is good enough to be appreciated no matter what stage of completion it is in.

Heh. I was merely being cautious not getting a nice little "omgwtfperv" flood up on my face if I didnt cencor the spots ( like cencoring would prevent that... ), but from now on, due to public demand ( ^^ ) , when I come up with a new adult piece, it will be cencor-less in the begining. And that will save me a minute & a half, propably too. When a new piece is coming out? Well, Im going to be closed in the barracks for the next week, so I'm guessing I might just have time to draw in the weekend................

Yes, I forgot to mention about finishing pictures, that though sometimes you simply must force yourself the motivation to do it, you should never get obsessed by it. So dont get hasty, and always think before you do (unlike me).
